Montechiaro Estates is located 10 Km. from Siena. It lies on 160 Ha of land, 10 of which are vineyards surrounded by 2000 olive trees. On the edge of a small 17th century village centred around a family villa, all the farmhouses have been restored.
These houses (Capannina, La Capanna and Torre all published in our web sites) were renovated and furnished with special care to preserve the wooden beamed ceilings and tiled floors.
Distances between the houses: TORRE and LA CAPANNA are 30 mts far from each other; LA CAPANNINA is 80 mts far from both TORRE and LA CAPANNA.
The views are outstanding, particularly the view of Siena in the distance and panoramic view of rolling hills with vineyards and olive groves.
Guests enjoy use oh their own pool in the garden, while tennis, horse riding and mountain bike hire are available nearby.
Home-produced wine and olive oil can be purchased from the main Montechiaro estate, which is within just a short stroll.
Historic Siena, with its fine array of narrow, winding streets, is a short drive away, and be sure to spend time in the magnificient Piazza del campo - home to the famous bareback horserace, the Palio. For the best views, climb to the top of the Campanile.

The private swimming pool is in the garden, measures 7x14 meter, deep from 1 to 2,20 m. Open from May 15 to September 30.

Descripción Interior

La Capanna is a large house, surrounded by grass, simple gardens, broom, lavender flowers and olive groves.
La Capanna has an expansive terrace, suitably furnished for al fresco dining. The large swimming pool is set on a lower grass terrace, surrounded by olive groves where there are splendid views over undulating countryside towards Siena. .
It has an open living/dining and kitchen area with double-height ceilings and a large hearth. Dining is at a large, round, built-in table or outdoors on the terrace. The tiled kitchen is equipped with a 6-burner gas stove, oven, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, double sinks, and doors opening to the garden.
