We were a family of 4 adults and 3 young children (5 year, 4 years and 2 years)at La Damigella. This was a perfect place for our family. The kitchen is well equipped and nice, the bathrooms are all great. Even though the house is old and genuine Tuscan style the modern requirements we have are all there... e.g. nice modern bathrooms and kitchen, wi fi, sky television (no english channels). The surrounding grounds are beautiful, an absolute highlight. You are in a valley with surrounding forest which is just beautiful. Mornings were very peaceful with birds singing and dew on the grass. The outdoor sitting areas were beautiful and we spent most of our time here. The pool was perfect and the kids loved it, swimming every day... although too cold for the adults. The location to nearby towns such as Lucca, Pisa, Monte Catini and the beach was fantastic. It is also close (8 minutes) to the autostrade (main highway). The owner Walter is great, maintaining the property beautifully and checking in every couple of days to clean the pool and make sure everything is ok. We had a fantastic stay and would recommend the property to anyone who wants to explore Tuscany. My only to 'watch outs' are that it is difficult to find. I suggest getting to Camaiore (nearest town) and asking owner to meet you there and show you the way, it's only 5 minutes from town. Also, the beds were too hard for my liking.
Wij zijn net terug van een vakantie in vakantiehuis La Sodera in Barberino di Mugello. Wat een geweldig(!) huis. Je kan bijna niet geloven dat alles erbij hoort. Een fantastische keuken, lekker ruim, je past met 10 personen aan tafel, voldoende uitgerust met pannen, borden en dergelijke. Vooral de aankleding is zo leuk, authentiek en passend bij de woning. Wat ons vooral enorm aansprak was de immens grote tuin die bij het huis hoort. Wij vonden het een absolute aanrader! Ook de familie Tagliaferi, de huiseigenaren zijn bijzonder vriendelijk en behulpzaam!
le seul véritable probleme est la présence de 3 petits chiens appartenant aux proprietaires, qui restent dehors la nuit et aboient sans cesse ce qui empeche de dormir
We liked very much Pozzo dei desideri. Convenient location - easy to find, close to the COOP (supermarket). Spacious, clean rooms with rustic atmosphere. Wonderful views! The landlady, Mrs. Panzani, has been most friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this beautiful place to families with small and grown-up children and groups of friends, who want to explore Toscana.
The villa is situated in a wonderfull and quiet environment. The gardens are well maintained and the interior is well designed and maintained. The airco works well and is silent. There are however some negative points that can be improved certainly for the price that is paid.
1. In the kitchen there is almost no storage place for the food of 16 adults for those that want to cook themselves. The only available cupboard is closed for private use by the owner.
2. At the swimming pool there are only 5 sunbeds that allow adults to lay in the sun. For the others there is only place under the sunroof in a large sofa.
3. The garage is partly taken by a private car of the owner and some spare or broken items as beds, chairs etc.
4. Although there is plenty cookware some essential stuff is missing as e.g. electrical mixer.
5. The kitchen knives are far from being sharp.
6. In the pool there is a loose stone above filter hole that can and has caused an injury at the feet.
7. One of the jacuzzi baths is not working (master bedroom)
Eine schöne, saubere und gepflegte Unterkunft, sehr komfortabel. Gut und sinnvoll eingerichtet: wir haben als vierköpfige Familie eine Woche dort verbracht und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Unterkunft ist in einem Wohngebiet von Ameglia gelegen; sehr sicher geschützt. Man erreicht die Badestrände zwischen La Spezia und Livorno sehr gut und schnell; interessante Sehenswürdigkeiten, wie die interessante und weltberühmten Marmorsteinbrüche von Carrara (schon Michelangelo holte dort sein Rohmateral ab, die wunderschönen Dörfer / Landschaft der Cinqueterre, nordwestlich von La Spezia sind ebenfalls leicht zu erreichen. Wir waren sehr von dieser Unterkunft sehr angetan und werden bestimmt noch mal dahin zurück kehren.

Well designed and useful: we, a family of four, spent a week there and we were very comfortable. The property is located in a residential area of Ameglia, protected and very safe. You can reach the beaches between La Spezia and Livorno very well and fast, interesting sights, like the interesting and famous marble quarries of Carrara (even Michelangelo went there to get his raw material), the beautiful villages / landscape of the Cinque Terre, northwest of La Spezia are also easy to reach. We were very pleased with this accommodation and are determined to return.
Mooie podere op een fantastische locatie vlakbij San Gimignano! Ongelooflijk mooi landgoed met een schitterend panorama. Rustige omgeving en gunstige ligging om uitstappen te maken naar Siena, Volterra, Firenze... Zeer gastvrije eigenaars. Proef zeker eens hun lekkere wijn en olijfolie. Bovendien een aanrader voor poezenliefhebbers!

Quiet environment and convenient location for day excursions to Siena, Volterra, Florence ... Very friendly owners. Be sure to taste their wine and olive oil. Moreover, a must for cat lovers!
Chosing Centolivi proved itself to be one of the best holiday options we've ever taken. Beautiful. isolated, tranquil, inspiring and inducing peace of mind.
