We had a lovely stay at Villa Le Caggia over Christmas. The owner had decorated the house and put up a Christmas tree. We were two families and a total 9 people and the property accommodated all of us easily. The game room is great but a little cold in the winter as it doesn't have heat (other than a wood burning fireplace which we used to heat the room a little). The property is also fairly remote up winding, narrow roads. While it is fairly close to Siena (about 30 mins) and other Tuscan towns, there is not much that is closer to the villa. The nearest grocery store is really just outside of Siena and there are only a few restaurant options within about 20 mins. So, just be prepared to stay in an enjoy the lovely villa itself.

Pasar unos días en la Toscana ya es una maravilla y si encima te alojas en la preciosa torre de María, aún más. Está todo muy limpio, dispone de camas muy amplias y cómodas. Además está a 20 minutos de Siena. Nos encantó el entorno y su jardín. [English translation courtesy of Easy Reserve] Spending a few days in Tuscany is already wonderful, and staying in the beautiful Torre is even better. Everything is very clean, and the beds are very spacious and comfortable. Plus, it's only 20 minutes from Siena. We loved the surroundings and the garden.

Yes, I would recommend the property. The fireplace in the kitchen we had going every evening. The resident dog was such an added delight. The 15 minute walk into town was enjoyable. On the grounds were fig trees, olive trees. Pomegranate trees, and lots of herbs.
