This property is situated in a private and beautiful position in the hills between Lucca and the coast. From the property, there are spectacular views over the countryside and the plains of Pisa and Lucca in the distance. The house has been furnished in a charming and comfortable country style. A wonderful feature is the wisteria covered pergola, which stretches along the front of the house, furnished with table and chairs, ideal for al fresco meals. Just in front of the pergola there is a special swimming pool with cascading water that has been installed in the most panoramic spot on the estate. Even though in a secluded position, Al Seminario is conveniently located just a 30 minute drive from the beaches, and 20 minutes from the nearest motorway exit (Massarosa), making it suited for trips to Lucca, Florence and other Tuscan towns. On request it is possible to arrange mountain biking excursions, hiking, horseback journeys and boating excursions in the Lucca Province. The one kilometre unsealed road is not suitable for very low sports cars.

Villa Clara can accommodate groups of up to 20 people, with all bedrooms (except one) having their own bathroom. The rental of the property, together with the one of Casa Rosa, located on the same estate, offers the possibility for larger groups, up to 32 guests, to vacation together. This property was built on the ruins of one of the old farmhouses dating back to 1600 belonging to the villa nearby owned by a noble family. It is located on top of the hill in the South side of Lucca countryside, only 7 km from the historic city center. It has been totally restored a few years ago using traditional materials such as beamed ceilings, terracotta tiled floors and maintaining an original pizza oven and barbecue outside the main entrance, thus keeping all the character of a typical Tuscan farmhouse. The result is a very comfortable country home furnished with all modern comforts, such as wi-fi, mosquito nets and air-conditioning in all bedrooms except a single one. A particular feature is the totally fenced pool area, protected by a gate that can be closed for kids safety with a comfortable gazebo with sofa and chairs. The pool is equipped with upstream swim. The last few miles of the road leading to the property are quite curvy and pass through beautiful high antique stonewalls. The area is ideal for people looking for a quiet location, yet at same time wishing to be close to a town. In fact, the walled medieval town of Lucca is only 10 minutes away. Macennere is a lovely stone-built farmhouse located in a very secluded and tranquil position in the hills of Lucca. The area, Forci, is one of the most beautiful in all the Luccan countryside. Despite its quiet location, the property is also just 15 minutes by car from the centre of Lucca. From the house and the garden, surrounded by olive groves and fruit trees, there are wonderful views over the countryside, from the Apuan Alps down to the plain of Lucca. The house has been recently restored and very tastefully furnished by a British interior decorator for the use of his family and is now available for rent when they are not in residence. He has used authentic Tuscan materials, such as antique cotto floors and beamed ceilings, and furnished it in a very attractive rustic, yet elegant style. Both to the front and back of the house there are outside eating areas with a built-in barbecue. The house has been featured in a 14-page article in an edition of the magazine “The World of Interiors” and in a 5-page review in one April 2005 issue of "The Times" magazine. The 1,5 kilometres road, down a forest track leading to the house, is not suitable for cars with low suspensions or for nervous drivers.
