Wonderful pool, outside spaces extensive with lovely views. Spacious inside. Ideal for 2 couples or 4 person family. Kitchen could do with some modernisation and better utensils. Beds averagely comfy. TV/DVD average. Access road to property is heart in mouth experience. Landscape is worth it though. Wireless works well. 20 minutes drive to heart of Lucca.

We did not want to leave after 4 days. This place is a bit off the beaten path so you really get the feel of what it is to live in Tuscany under the Tuscan sun and live the slow life for a few days. Adriano and his wife Franca and their daughter Constanza are very special people. We met a retired couple who come back here every year and they have travelled all over Italy.

A special place. Spacious, bright, well set up with conveniences including a flat screen t.v., with some English channels, A lovely, modern kitchen, 2 full modern baths and decorated with charming antiques and interesting duck decoy collection. Although it was upstairs, we chose the tower bedrooms with arched and round windows with fabulous views of the old city. It felt like staying in a castle. The apartment is on the second floor, which gives views and privacy.
A nice outdoor sitting area - it fit well in the Siena atmosphere. From the villa we were close to Sienna and spent 4 days exploring the "caught in time" city. The duomo was the most beautiful we saw in all of Italy. Then we did a wine tour and 2 days of driving to Tuscan towns - always great food and wine.
