Just a five minutes drive away there is the famous Castello di Banfi where guests can visit the cellars and the hamlet while enjoying the great red wine, have lunch or dinner in one of their excellent restaurants.
The views from the house are outstanding taking in the Val d’Orcia and Crete Senesi, considered by many as the most beautiful areas of Tuscany. The owner a renowned Italian Architect and Interior Designer restored the villa in total respect to the Tuscan tradition and furnished it with an impressive combination of furniture personally designed and some antiques ones. The property comprises the main Tuscan stone-built farmhouse and a bedroom with en-suite bathroom in the guesthouse. Other bedrooms with en-suite bathroom can be rented at extra cost sleeping up to 18 people. Lavacchio has been restored and furnished to high standard all the first floor bedrooms have air-conditioning and two other portable units are available on request.

Although you will feel far away from the city, Lucca is only 10 minutes away by car. It is an ideal location, as you will see on the map, the city of Lucca is positioned centrally in the Tuscan region. It is aprox. only 15 km from the sea side and 10km from the mountains. It is surrounded by all the main cities of Tuscany, which are easily reachable also by train or bus.
The property is in San Concordio di Moriano, a small village in the countryside, 7km from Lucca city center.
The villa is surrounded by ancient olive groves and vineyards. It is also an historic area where once all the noble families built their summer estates to escape the heat and show off their wealth. Although it might seem like an isolated area, the village center is only 2km away, where it is possible to find a minimarket and a supermarket at 3km.

The garden surrounding the property is delimited by a 2m high wall, which surrounds three sides of the villa. Villa Saida is built respecting the traditions of Tuscany, using materials available in the area, like wooden beams and rafters handcrafted on local walnut. Also materials for roof and floor are handmade in Tuscany. Certainly modernity is not forgotten. The value of the structure does not derive only from the high quality of the materials and from many comforts, but also from its location: in fact, on an area from where we can enjoy an unique view of the Alpi Apuane (the marble mountains), the Rocca Ariostesca in the centre of Castelnuovo, reachable walking on a shaded road, the Monte Alfonso and its fortress (that is part of the natural park of the Alpi Apuane) and finally the Appennino. In the river Serchio Valley we can see the Villetta bridge, one of the highest rail bridge of Italy. On the left we can admire the Pania della Croce, while on the right the beautiful "Pania di Corfino", a rocky group on which there is the Orecchiella Park, and at the far end the pass of the Radici inside the Appennino Park that, when snowy in winter, is a incredible sight. The area offers the possibility to practise many sports (trekking, golf, mountain bike, horse riding, in addition of the near tennis courts and soccer fields). Also other outdoor activities are available for a complete relaxation.
A little farer than twenty kilometres there are the Bagni di Lucca baths, already famous at the roman age, where there are particular kind of warm and healthy waters and mud. Many Tuscan tourist resorts are easily reachable: art and historic towns like Lucca, Pisa, Firenze are close to the Villa. Less than an hour is needed to reach the Versilia seaside, while in winter there are many locations where we can go skiing (Careggine, Casone di Profecchia, Abetone, Radici e Val di Luce).
PARK: The Villa lies in a wonderful garden of about 4.066 square yards, confines with the wood at one side and has a fence all around with an entrance equipped by an automated gate and divided in two: one for cars and a second for persons.

The pool, from where you can see a wonderful sight, is 14 X 6 meters and constantly deep 1,50 meter .+ Hydro massage area of 90 cm. depth. about. There are four positions for water message and is equipped by garden furniture like easy chairs and beds for sun baths.

The OWNER lives about 2 km from the villa, so he is available for any need of the renters. Villa Cerretalta is in a wonderful position on a small hill surrounded by Brunello vineyards, within the national park of Val D'Orcia. The 7 bedroom, 6 bath property is set between the cities of Montalcino and San Quirico D'Orcia (both are about 10 km away), yet in few minutes you can reach the little town of Torrenieri (5 km) where you can find the nearest shops, supermarket and restaurants.
The owner occasionally uses the independent building nearby and whilst respecting your privacy will be at your disposal if you should need any help.
Cerretalta is completely surrounded by hedges and fences to guarantee total privacy. Nonetheless, you have a wonderful sight over the countryside.
Once you enter the gateway, there is a large courtyard plenty of tables and chairs at guests’ disposal as well as the brick barbeque. Across the court there is a lovely area with a big round stone table and matching benches sheltered from the sun by a pergola. Here there is also a second way out from the property, down a stone staircase and through a small iron gate.
There are two garden areas.
The first one is bordered by mature trees, should the guests enjoy a peaceful shady lawn, and it is situated next to a white travertine floored space with tables, chairs and parasol. This is the perfect location where you can have your meals, while taking in the beautiful view over the surrounding farmland.
From here, few stone steps lead to the second garden that is located near the poolside. A small gate possibly delimits the way so as to prevent little children from reaching the swimming-pool area without permission. Some fruit trees, flowers and shrubs brighten the place and there is also a gazebo with table and chairs. An extensive hedge marks the limits of the patch.

The Tower was inhabited in the 15th century by the cartographer Paolo Toscanelli dal Pozzo, who had a decisive influence on Christopher Columbus’ decision to sail west in search of the East Indies.
Inside is an equipped kitchen with fireplace, a single bedroom, a living room, a double bedroom and a bathroom with shower, sink, WC and bidet.
Outside is a splendid private swimming pool with sunshade and deckchairs, surrounded by a superb green area equipped with table, chairs and barbecue.
