Villa Roga is a beautiful, private villa located near lake Trasimeno, on the border between Tuscany and Umbria. This vacation rental with stunning views is surrounded by a large 10000-square meters estate with fruit trees (figs, walnut, pear and olive trees) and offers a beautiful, private swimming pool. Outside guests can also enjoy use of a well-kept garden with lawn and bowling green near the pool.
The interiors are welcoming and tastefully furnished.
Montepulciano Lake and its Natural Preserve is a short distance away while Lake Trasimeno (the third largest lake in Italy) is 10 km away and offers water sport facilities (surf, water ski, rowing), the islands of this lake (accessible by ferries) are worth a visit.
The villa location is ideal to discover Tuscany’s and Umbria’s most important places of interest such as Siena, Arezzo, Cortona, Montepulciano, Pienza, Florence, the Chianti and the Val d’Orcia area.
Distances: Castiglion del Lago with a larger variety of shops 10 km away, Chiusi (railway station with connections to Siena, Florence, Arezzo, Orvieto and Romea circa 10 km, Cortona 30 km, Perugia 55 km away, Orvieto 60 km, Siena 80 km away, Florence 135, Rome 175 km away.
