Outside, guests can also enjoy use of a covered terrace at the house entrance and of an additional covered terrace by the pool ideal for relaxing on hot days.
The villa’s location allows easy access to Tuscany and Umbria.

Distances: the small village of Casamaggiore is only 50 meters from the villa away, Gioiella and Pozzuolo with groceries, bar, restaurants and a minimarket 3 km away, Castiglion del Lago with shops of all kinds 7,5 km away, Chiusi (railway station) 15 km, Montepulciano 22 km, Cortona 30 km away, Orvieto 60 km, Siena 80 km away, Florence 135 km, Rome 180 km away.

At guests’ disposal: large, 500-square-meter, entirely fenced-in garden, private swimming-pool (10 x 6 m – min. depth 1 m – max. depth 1,5 m – open from 01/06 through 30/09), open-air shower by the pool (only cold water available), covered terrace equipped with garden furniture, additional covered terrace with sofas at the house entrance, bread oven, barbecue, ping-pong.
The villa provides internet access (free of charge).

Ground floor: the access to the house is via a covered terrace furnished with sofas, living-room with fireplace, dining-room, kitchen (oven, freezer, dishwasher, microwaves, toaster), laundry (washing-machine), bathroom with shower, additional dining-room with TV area, fireplace and upright piano.
1st floor (this floor is also accessible to disabled people via a stair-lift): bedroom with a single bed, double bedroom (air-conditioning), bedroom with a single bed (air-conditioned), bathroom with shower, double bedroom (air-conditioning), bathroom with bathtub, bathroom with shower.
A few steps down: bedroom with a French bed (suitable for an adult or 2 children), double bedroom with access on to a small terrace with panoramic views.

we had an excellent time in Umbria and used the location as a base to discover the area around. the vineyards and local restaurants offer great choice and quality... We were very well received and assisted (by Mr Igor ) throughout the time we spent at Solina.

Don't expect a modern environment ...
The House is very spacious and has a very Typical as well as personal character , which feels almost as if you know the owners, due to the photos, paintings and furniture there.
the level of cleanliness was very good

The Garden and pool are really nice, well maintained as well (and cleaned every day).

one item of caution would be in relation to the local wildlife ;

Mosquitos & wasps were bountiful ... Little Lizards and a few Scorpions as well as snakes (even if we were told that they are harmless, you should be prepared for an eventual encounter).
