Le Rondini bietet eine phantastische Aussicht und war für uns mit 2 Hunden der perfekte Urlaubsort. Leider ging in 2 Schlafzimmern die klimaanlage nicht zu 100%, es war bei Aussentemperatut von 40 C etwas zu warm. Man sollte auch ein Insektenfreund sein, es gab viele Moskitos. Der Pool ist wunderschön angelegt und war herrlich erfrischend.

Unfortunately, the air conditioning in 2 bedrooms was not working at 100%, it was a bit too warm with the outside temperature of 40 C. You should also be an insect lover, there were lots of mosquitoes. The pool is beautifully landscaped and was wonderfully refreshing.

Wir (4 Erwachsene, ein Kleinkind von 15 Monaten und eine Schafpudelhündin) haben 14 Tage das wunderbare Haus und insbesondere den Pool genossen. Es fehlte an nichts. Auto ist nötig, selbst das Laufen nach Montopoli ist schon eine Angehen. Wie häufig bei tollen Ferienhäusern ist die Zuwegung - nach Durchfahrt der engen Gassen von Montopoli - eher schwierig, aber machbar. Auch mit unserem für Italien eher zu großen Touareg. Die Verständigung mit dem Gärtner - soweit nötig - lief auf italienisch (da war meine Ehefrau mit ihren vielen Italienischkursen genau richtig), ansonsten allers problemlos auf englisch. Allerdings muss man täglich viele Treppen zumeist ohne Handlauf steigen, zum Pool geht es z.B. über zwei weitläufige Ebenen. mit vielen Treppenstufen.. Der Pool ist aber jede Anstrengung wert. Mückenschutz mitnehmen und wer deutsches TV sehen will einen Fire TV Stick von Amazon. Wir waren zumeist relaxt im Ferienhaus, haben uns "nur" Pisa, Lucca, San Miniauto angesehen und an einer Weinprobe in Serra teilgenommen.. Wir hatten aber auch das Glück, dass der alljährliche mittelalterliche Tag in Montopoli zu unserer Zeit stattfand. Kl.Annregung: Der komplette Sichtschutz rund um den Pool ist zumindest in Richtung Tal völlig unnötig, versperrt aber die Sicht vom Pool aus.


[English translation courtesy of Easy Reserve] We (4 adults, a toddler of 15 months and a sheep poodle) have enjoyed the wonderful house and especially the pool for 14 days. Nothing was missing. Car is necessary, even walking to Montopoli is a challenge. As is often the case with great holiday homes, access - after driving through the narrow streets of Montopoli - is rather difficult, but doable. Also with our Touareg, which is rather too big for Italy. The communication with the gardener - as far as necessary - was in Italian (my wife was just right with her many Italian courses), otherwise everything was in English without any problems. However, you have to climb a lot of stairs every day, mostly without handrails, e.g. the pool is on two spacious levels. with many steps. The pool is worth every effort. Take mosquito repellent with you and if you want to watch German TV, take a Fire TV Stick from Amazon. We were mostly relaxed in the holiday home, "only" looked at Pisa, Lucca, San Miniauto and took part in a wine tasting in Serra. But we were also lucky that the annual medieval day in Montopoli took place during our time. Small suggestion: the complete privacy screen around the pool is completely unnecessary, at least in the direction of the valley, but blocks the view from the pool.

Wonderful spacious Tuscan villa with an amazing walk-in pool and an astonishing view on the Tuscan hills. Great location and a great house to share with friends and/or family.

Dieses Haus lässt keine Wünsche offen. Tolle Lage , Ruhe , sehr gute Ausstattung . Man liegt mitten zwischen Pisa und Florenz . Da sind alle Ausflüge möglich. Ideal mit Hund.

Le Rondini was an excellent villa and location. The owner were very helpful and made us feel at home. The villa was a beautiful home with plenty of room for the 6 of us. I would highly recommend this villa for a vacation stay in the Montopoli area.

Excellent Tuscany style villa in a nice location a huge garden and a wonderful pool area!
Owners were very help fool and responded quickly on our questions and needs. As it was early in the year and the weather was cold, we needed to switch on the central heating, and the owners were there whit in 15 min. to help us even on a Sunday evening.

We would highly recommend Le Rondini and love to come back!

We stayed with eight persons in this beautifull house and we had lots of space inside and outside. The house is very complete and everything worked well. The owners made us feel very welcome and we enjoyed their home-made pizza very much!
The position of the house is good for making trips.

Eine sehr schöne und gepflegte Unterkunft, der Pool ist grandios.
Dass die Putzfrauen viermal die Woche da sind, fanden wir ein wenig übertrieben.
Sonst alles wunderbar!

First of all, it was a pleasure working with EasyReserve while making our reservation at Le Rondini. Everyone was helpful from beginning to end. Special thanks to Lucia and Lucy who answered all my questions!

We enjoyed our week at Le Rondini - a lovely, charming villa. It is more or less just as it appears on the website except that rooms are not as large as the pictures show them to be. However, it is still quite spacious and was perfect for 6 adults. There is plenty of room by the beautiful pool and other outdoor places to relax, read a book and enjoy the scenery, watch sunsets, etc. It was easy to drive from the villa to Pisa, Lucca, Florence and the hill towns.

The directions we were given to get to the villa were fine and we had no difficulty driving through the town and up the roads to the villa. We were concerned that our large 7 seat vehicle would make it difficult, but all went well.

The very nice and helpful owners greeted us upon our arrival and showed us around the villa and the property. They gave us their phone number and their daughter’s number if we had any problems or concerns. That information came in handy as we did call shortly after our arrival because the fridge was not getting cold and we had done food shopping prior to our arrival. The owners came right away and determined that it was not working correctly and helped us move our food to another fridge in an outside storage area. This problem was solved the next day when a new fridge was put in. We also had a problem with the washing machine. It took a day or two to find out the problem – old coins from a previous guest’s pocket had prevented the water from draining out. It was fixed and worked fine. One wall mounted hair dryer was broken and I called to see if it could be replaced. Later, the owners dropped by with 3 new hand-held hairdryers for the 3 upstairs bathrooms. We appreciated that very much.

We had requested a few things prior to our arrival and those things were kindly done for us. The villa was set up with towels for the 9 people it could have accommodated so having a few extra towels was very helpful. The owners recommended a couple of restaurants in the town. They were both excellent places for a nearby dinner.

A couple of things that could be improved are the kitchen pots and pans and the dishwasher. Some non-stick roasting pans were quite scratched and a stir fry wok was put in the cabinet uncleaned. So, I began preparing for our first evening meal by washing all the pots and pans to make sure they were all clean. Also, a few more types of pans would be helpful when cooking and storing leftover food in the fridge. The dishwasher rack does not fit correctly in the dishwasher and was continuously falling off when it was pulled out or pushed in. There were plenty of dishes, bowls, platters, glasses, etc. stored in the dining room cabinet and buffet.

With no AC on the first floor, we opened windows for fresh air which brought in lots of mosquitoes and flies, especially when cooking. Screens on windows would be quite helpful. Good thing I brought some OFF with me but it didn’t prevent a few of us from getting bitten.

The 3 times a week cleaning service was also appreciated. The ladies who did the cleaning were very nice. The only thing is that on our day of departure, they arrived before 8:30 when they were supposed to come at 10 or 10:30. They worked outside sweeping and cleaning. There was also a man with them who was pruning shrubs. It was not a quiet time for the last 90 minutes or so of our stay as they were talking loudly to each from a distance.

All in all, we truly enjoyed staying at Le Rondini and exploring the towns and area surrounding it. It is a very nice, relaxing, secluded place and yet not far from many wonderful things to see and enjoy while in Tuscany. Many thanks to the owners for making our stay quite enjoyable.

Wir , eine 8-köpfige Familie mit Hund fühlten uns vom ersten Tag an sehr wohl. Alles verlief bestens - jeder Tag war ein Highlight - das Haus ist groß genug um eine ruhige Ecke zum Nachdenken zu finden. Pool und der große Gartengrill sind eine Schau! Lediglich empfehlen wir allen ein gutes Antimückenmittel parat zu haben - man ist trotz langer Hose und Socken ein gnadenloses Objekt.

Everything went perfectly - every day was a highlight - the house is big enough to find a quiet corner to think. Pool and barbecue are a great show! We only recommend to have a good mosquito repellent ready - the mosquitos are merciless despite our long pants and socks.

Das Haus entsprach völlig unseren Erwartungen. Schöne Zimmer und Bäder, große Küche mit guter Ausstattung, Schönes Esszimmer, Wohnraum mit gemütlicher Sitzgelegenheit und tollem offenen Kamin (der auch wirklich gut funktioniert)!!!!
Der Pool ist wunderschön angelegt, mit ausreichend Liegen und Sonnenschirmen. Auch die ganze Gartenanlage ist sehr gepflegt, der "Poolboy" kommt regelmäßig und säubert den Pool. Für das Haus kommen 3x in der Woche 2 Putzhilfen und bringen wieder Ordnung in die Schlafräume und Bäder. Die Handtücher werden jedesmal gewechselt, die Betten gemacht, die Bäder geputzt, die Küche und Wohnräume gefegt,........und sogar der Müll wird entsorgt.
Erika ist sehr hilfsbereit und die Verständigung klappt sehr gut in englisch und natürlich italienisch. Bei Fragen oder Problemen einfach kurz eine SMS an Erika senden, Sie kümmert sich schnell darum.
Lage des Hauses schön im Grünen gelegen, bis ins
Dorf Montopoli sind es ca. 25 min. Zu Fuß.
Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der nähernden Umgebung,
Penny, Lidl, Coop, ......
Ausflüge nach Pisa,Florenz in ca. 40min. Erreichbar.
Es waren 2 wunderschöne, erholsame Ferienwochen die wir dort in den Pfingstferien 2013 verbringen konnten. Mille, Mille Grazie an Erika

We cannot say enough wonderful things about our week at Le Rondini.
Erika and her family were delightful and were always available to answer any requests( train schedules) or questions.
The property and home were beautiful and immaculately kept. The pictures provided on the website do not begin to bring justice to how beautiful the grounds and the surrounding countryside are. The charming village of Montopoli was also a delight.
Our week at Le Rondini was everything we had hoped for when we decided to rent a villa in Tuscany. Thank you for a fabulous experience!

Le Rondini was so much more than we could ever have expected. The owners, Maurizio, Valeria and Erika were wonderful hosts and did everything possible to make us welcome -- even to the extent of tracking down luggage that the airline lost. They even guided us to the local grocery store which has great produce and cold cuts as well as everything you would expect from a supermarket.

The villa was beautiful and had every convenience that we could require. Even olive oil, condiments and spices were provided -- we imagine that other guests had left some items that they had purchased.

The views from the villa were a delight and made us want to explore the local countryside. Getting lost on the back roads was simply fun. However, a GPS is a requirement. The areas for alfresco dining were perfect - we ate outside at every opportunity and had wine by the pool.

Montopoli is a beautiful village with surprisingly wonderful restaurants and incredible scenery. It was also perfectly located for day trips to Firenze, Pisa, San Gimignano and the coast.

Bottom line -- one of the best holidays we have ever had and in one of the most beautiful places.
