The house is located at 6km. from "Scarperia" (famous for the production of knives and for the international circuit of Mugello), 10km from "Borgo San Lorenzo", at 15km. from "Vicchio" (birthplace of Giotto and Fra Angelico), at 35km. from Florence, at 16km. from the "Barberino Designer Outlet" (over 100 stores of major brands of Italian and international fashion) and Lake "Bilancino" (canoeing, sailing, windsurfing), 10km away. the "Poggio dei Medici Golf Club".

First floor: 1 double bedroom with possibility to add one single bed and small loggia; 1 bedroom with two single beds and a sofa bed and access to large terrace. 1 bathroom with bath (toilet / bidet). Comfortable furniture with period furniture.

Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit der Unterkunft. Die Mutter der Vermieterin hat uns mit einem Tablett Keksen willkommen geheißen. Das Haus ist sehr schön gelegen, das Grundstück riesig, die Ausstattung von Küche bzw. Geschirr etc. sehr in Ordnung. Besonderer Pluspunkt ist die Loggia, die sich sowohl für besonders heiße Tage als auch für kühlere Abende eignet. Auch super ist, dass es zahlreiche Sitzmöglichkeiten rund um Haus und Pool (der allerdings echt kalt ist) gibt.

Our party arrived at two separate times. Those arriving first had difficulty contacting the owner, it was after5pm before they were finally into the villa.
The villa is typical tuscan decor, considering the amount paid for cleaning, we were shocked to still find areas not to our own personal standards. The pool area is lovely, we had many lovely days with the children here. The views are amazing, bring insect repellent though as you will get bitten.
The upstairs bathroom was in poor condition, shower barely works and the bath full of limescale, we all felt the property could benefit from a new suite upstairs. My children were unable to sit in the bath, as they found it too rough.
Plenty of towels and bedding provided. We were unable to find a kettle, so a travel one would be advisable. Lots of lovely hidden areas around the property to sit and enjoy fabulous views.
You can hear the local race track most days, you do adjust to the constant racing of bikes sound.
Overall it was a nice stay, but the property does need some updating in the bathrooms.
