The appartment is beautifully equipped, comfortable for up to 8 people. Kitchen with a large fridge and dish wasser mkaes it complete.
The surrounding garden amd swimming poolis very well maintained. Although the house holds three appartments, privacy is guaranteed.
The ready available bycicles and free tennis court at the nearby main reception is very much appreciated.
The welcome, the " Pizza" evening and departure was very pleasant hosted by the hostess.
A very pleasant, relaxed and quite place to hold one's holidays!
Splendid villa, very spacious: ideal for 3 families. Very friendly owner who took regularly care of the swimming pool early in the morning so it was perfectly clean. A big advantage but at the same time disadvantage was the outdoor kitchen: advantage since we could cook next to the terrasse and the swimming pool; disadvantage because the indoor kitchen was on the first floor so we had to carry dishes 2 or 3 times/day to and from the dishwasher. Thanks to the nearby motorway (that did not cause any noise) you can reach all interesting spots within 1-1,5hour. The only things that may disturb the rest: a cock who started to crow very early in the morning and a donkey who followed the example of the cock ;-) The electricity and gas costs were high and also the cleaning costs of 15EUR p.p. are extensive.
A delightful property in a stunning position. The family were extremely welcoming and helpful and we are certainly hoping to return in the near future.
Great property, Owners were great. Location was great. Quiet, peaceful. Only thing i would suggest to the owners is that the property that we had needed bit of cleaning, we found alots of spider webs, etc.,, kitchen needed, bread knife, coffee pot, it was lacking alots of kitchen supplies.
We stayed one week in Torre del Cielo. It is impossible to describe everything in a few words. However, the house is beautiful, authentic and luxuary. Garden and swimming pool are like a small piece of paradise and the view you have from the garden over the valley is brilliant.
A very pleasant and charming romantic house. Very cosy and the house stays real cool and had all the comfort we needed. The owner of the property lives nearby and is very friendly, charming and helpful, as well as his family. We had a huge part of the garden for our own with real privacy. The pool was 5 x 5. Not big but my two sons 11 and 13 had a great time. Especially with the small cute dog and lots of young cats, so adorable.
If you want some peace and want to relax, reading a nice book enjoying the environment, its possible here. You don't hear the cars in the streets its very peaceful and quiet. Except for some dogs barking further on and the TGV(train) you hear once in a while.
For us this place has given us a warm, beautiful memory.
We had a splendid vacation at Poggio Conca. The house itself is very pleasant, set in a remote and peaceful location in an absolutely stunning environment! Florence, Siena, San Gimignano etc. are easy to reach. If you prefer to stay closer to home, there is a lovely forest right at your doorstep. The house itself is lovely and well kept and has all the conveniences. The last 800m to the house is over a bumpy unsealed road and not suitable for cars with low ground clearance.
The villa is really beautiful and spacious, surrounded by vineyards. View is spectacular! There were 10 of us but still had plenty of rooms. The owner is very helpful and nice, however very afraid about her property. She asked us to pay attention not to make any stains and spots on the floors and marble sink in the kitchen, but at the same time she could gave us fresh tomatoes from the garden. This place is nice for people who like to rest and read. It’s very quiet and 15 minutes by car to the nearest small town.
Geograhphically a great position. Very reasonable price for its size, reflecting of course there is no view. No lounge room is a bit challenging when staying with little kids, as was no oven or microwave, but if it was just adults staying as a place to rest rather than linger at, ideal. Bedrooms a great size. Enjoyed the wine tasting.
