We spent one week at villa Broccolo at the end of september. The villa itself met our expectations fully. The villa is well equiped, very clean (a cleaning woman called in twice during our stay)and the garden and pool area is just beautiful.
The owner is a really nice and very helpful man, even though he does't speak any english (nether we any italian).
The location is very handy as it it situated in a small village but still extremely quiet.
The only downside was the mosquitos. I am not sure if it was the time of the year or a general issue. But be well prepared...

Loved staying at La Mirandola. The owners are friendly and extremely helpful. The location is great and the accomadation is fabulous. Would reccomend this to anyone.

A group of friends and family spent 2 weeks at Palazzo Rosadi. We had a wonderful visit to the Tuscan hillside and enjoyed the palazzo greatly. The best thing about it was the personal attention we received from the Rosadi family. They made themselves available for all kinds of assistance which was most helpful, as most of us spoke no Italian and were a little lost. The villa was clean and comfortable and the countryside was delightful. We loved it!

A great place for the family. Very clean, well maintained and great property for relaxing and kids. The owner is very helpful and is a nice guy.

The area was beautiful although challenging to find. We really liked the town of Greve which was close by, just down the high hills. The owner, Roberto, was very helpful with directions and with advice on things to do or see. The space in our cottage was great, the bathroom was fairly new and well equipped with a nice shower. The bed was comfortable, but we would have liked to have an extra pillow. The kitchen was OK, with a small gas stove and a toaster oven. However, there were only the bare minimum of things to use. We even had to ask for a corkscrew and this in the Chianti region known for its wines. There were only 2 wine glasses, we ended up buying our own proper wine glasses. There was no kettle, we heated water in a saucepan. There are absolutely no extras: one dishtowel, one sponge, no paper towels, only 1 roll of toilet paper. We had to buy salt and pepper even. If I had known that I would have packed a few kitchen essentials so that we did not have to buy as much. Overall, we liked the location and the space, the owners were pleasant,and the place was clean, but do not expect any nice touchs of welcome to another's home.

We (2 couples) had a great time at Salvino 5. The villa is well suited to 2 couples.
The owner, Alberto was very helpful. You must try the two restaurants in the village, Lombricaia and Trattoria. Both were excellent.¿Recomendaría esta propiedad a un amigo? Sí

Tuscany has been a dream for many years, and thanks to a beautiful family and a wonderful villa in a spectacular part of Italy that dream came to life. The minute we arrived it felt like home! From the warm welcome we received from Ivan and his lovely family to the special touches, of home baked goods, a platter of meats and cheese, eggs and fresh fruit was unexpected but so welcome and delicious.
The family is wonderful hosts, and we were made to feel part of their special family from the minute we arrived. The warm and friendly welcome we received from Ivan, the coffee with Nona and Maria was a highlight every day, and Maria makes a fantastic espresso (I am now a converted espresso drinker), Giovanni’s vino rosso is just as good as any bottle of wine we drank, and Ivan & Maria’s home made pizza an bruschetta were a taste sensation.
The villa looks just as it does in the pictures, actually even better. The pool and gardens are lovely and a great place to relax under the Tuscan sun!! My favorite spot was on the little terrace at the table, watching the world go by, and listening and watching the comings and goings from the piazza and restaurant across the road. Casa Ivan is in a great location to explore the sites of Tuscany and Umbria the signage and directions are easy to follow, and the views of the countryside are like postcards. Ivan arranged for a day of cooking and this was a highlight. We shopped at the markets for our produce, then spent the day at a villa cooking, chatting, laughing, and best of all eating and drinking. Would definitely recommend adding this to the list of must do’s.
Ivan speaks English very well, but Maria, Giovanni and Nona do not speak any, but the language barrier was not an issue. I knew very basic Italian, and we could converse and understand each other. I looked forward to coffee time and chats with the family.
I was sad to leave, and know that I will definitely be back. You could not go wrong staying at Casa Ivan. (Il Poggio del Sole)

Lucia and Gabrielle, the owners of this villa welcomed us with open arms. Lucia is clearly the best cook in all of Italy as she prepared the most delicious dinners for us many times during our stay. Villa Carolina is even better in reality than it is in the pictures here. The interior is absolutely immaculate and the exterior is beautifully kept and landscaped. The pool is delightful as is the surrounding views of the vineyards and Tuscany. We hope to return to Villa Carolina some day and will miss it and the owners very much until then....

The villa was perfect for our group of 16 people. Richardo was fantastic and was available whenever we needed him. We had their breakfast one morning and the group dinner by request. The wine tasting was very informative and tasty and it was amazing being on property during harvest season. We were able to watch a vineyard at work. I will definately recommend this villa to friends...but highly recommend you get the GPS system with any rental cars, because all villas are slightly difficult to find the first time. Thanks again, it was fantastic!
