I can't say enough about how much my brother and I enjoyed our stay. The owner and his family were extremely kind and helpful. It was obvious that they wanted us to be comfortable, and they went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. Be aware that they speak very little English, but there was ultimately no problem understanding everything we needed to know. There are no doubt more lavish places to stay, but Paradiso had everything we required, and more. The beds are comfortable and the bathrooms are great. There is no real sitting area, just a couch in the kitchen, but when you have the view that this place has, who wants to sit inside?

This was our second visit to Cortona and I fell in love with Santa Maria Novella when I first saw it. Having it practically in our front yard was incredible. The stone table under the grapevines was a wonderful place to relax and have a glass of wine.

It was easy to walk into town for lunch or dinner if we we not inclined to cook, and Cortona is a fascinating town to explore. Whether you like churches, museums, shopping, cafes, or just walking streets and alleys, you can find it here.

Other places that are within easy driving distance include Orvieto, Assisi, Sienna, Montepulciano, and San Gimignano. If you go to Florence, I strongly suggest you take a train. It was cheap and you don't have to worry about parking a car.

I'm almost reluctant to tell people how great this was as I'm hoping to go back and am afraid it will all be booked out with all the rave reviews, but I have to say it was an amazing place to stay - breathtaking scenery, lovely spacious and cosy apartment, fabulous grounds set in the Tuscan hills but just a short walk from the centre of San Gimignano. The only downsides were that we had trouble connecting to wifi and the Sky TV wasn't available until the last evening, but the positives definitely outweighed these. A wonderful resort, great value and definitely to be recommended.

Overall the villa was nice! Small problem with pellet furnace and hot water tank which the owner was more then happy to address. These would not have been an issue in the summer months but due to the cold and damp weather it took a long time for the villa to warm up. No clothes dryer in villa.

Location was excellent - close to the centre of Cortona. Plenty of room to move about. Lots of hot water in the bathroom. Local rep was very helpful and accommodating.

Despite rather cool, damp weather, we had a great stay at Podere Pievina. Our hosts could not have been more accommodating and helpful. We especially enjoyed our pasta making lesson with them, along with the wonderful meal that followed. Podere Pievina was our home base from which we explored Lucignano, Cortona, Montepulciano, La Foce Garden and more. We also took the train from Sinalunga to Florence, stayed one night and spent part of the next day in Siena.

Sehr schönes, perfekt ausgestattetes Haus in herrlicher Panoramalage. Die Einrichtung hat uns sehr gut gefallen, die Betten waren groß und sehr bequem. Bei der Ankunft wurden wir durch die Eigentümer sehr freundlich empfangen. Seit fast 20 Jahren verbringen wir unseren Urlaub in der Toskana, dieses Haus ist für uns eines der besten dort.
Ein besonderer Dank geht an Cristiana von Easy Reserve. Durch ihre freundliche Hilfe und perfekte Organisation wurde dieser schöne Urlaub erst möglich.
Diese Ferienobjekt kann man zu 100 % weiterempfehlen.

[English translation courtesy of Easy Reserve] Very nice, perfectly equipped house in a panoramic position. We especially loved the decor of the interiors; the beds were large and very comfortable. At our arrival we were very friendly welcomed by the owners. For nearly 20 years we have been spent our holiday in Tuscany, this house is one of the best we ever had!

Very nice place! however not very sound proof, can hear everyone doing everything, but still if you dont care about that it is a very nice place.but no proper wifi in the villa, had to go outside to get a good connection

Staying in Casa Anna was really wonderful!!! Great place,great house,all facilities,hosts were very hospitality and kind!!! Next time in Tuscany-only there!!!
