This is the perfect place to explore this part of Tuscany with many of the famous villages and landmarks within an hours drive and Florence about 2hrs away. If you are after peace and quiet then this is the place for you, it's in a beautiful surrounding and is very rustic, its well furnished, comfortable and clean. it is outside of the village which has its own small shops, the nearest larger town is about 15 mins away. As per someone else's comment, you are high up so it can get a bit nippy in the evenings and first thing in the morning, as an example there was about a 5 degree difference in temperature at the base of the mountain to where the villa is situated..., the hosts are lovely and very helpful and the pool is about a 3 minute walk from the property, overall a great place if you want to get away from it all and have a base to tour from...
Great space, many different relaxing areas to spend time in. Nice to have 3 bathrooms. Location was easy to find, and there was good street parking in front of the building. The kitchen had everything you needed.
Villa Magna + Dependance is a beautiful, luscious property that boasts spectular 360 degree views. The sparkling pool is nicely maintained and the lounge chairs and area allowed us to enjoy the outdoors. The wood-fire oven, and large patio table invite long dinners under the Tuscan sky. I would recommend Villa Magna + Dependance for large groups as there is plenty space.
Spent a week at villa Cecilia. It was lovely in every way, the villa, grounds and pool are beautiful. The owners were incredibly lovely and welcoming, their hospitality was amazing and nothing was to much trouble. Surrounded by beautiful countryside this was the most relaxing holiday we have had.
Our family of 5 had a fantastic stay at San Lorenzo. The property is idyllic with stunning views, excellent facilities such as traditional wood burning oven & a sparkling swimming pool. The children loved the fish, turtles and farm cats and they were well catered for with table tennis, table football & basketball.
Our spacious accommodation was beautifully presented, decorated & equipped to a very high standard with plenty of room for everyone. The olive oil & honey produced on site is well worth trying and buying too!
The location was so convenient to many desired locations such as Volterra & San Gimignano, we found it a great base.
The owners of this property are friendly & professional. We had wonderful privacy while also having all we could need and any questions addressed promptly.
Such as everywhere in Italy, being well equipped with mosquito repellent is highly reccomended but a small inconvenience to be in such a gorgeous Tuscan location.
