Wir haben im Haus "Villa La Collina" eine schöne Zeit gehabt. Es hat alles funktioniert, aber seit der Renovierung des Hauses sind doch anscheinend schon einige Jährchen vergangen. Nur die Zimmer im ersten Stock verfügen über eine Klimaanlage, im gesamten Erdgeschoß muss man auf Kühlung verzichten. Der Pool ist groß, aber der Einsatz von Chemie, um Algen und Trübung des Wassers zu vermeiden, ist beträchtlich. Sensible Kinderhaut kann da schon mal eine Reaktion zeigen.
Die Mücken um das Haus und am Pool waren ziemlich lästig, im Haus durch Fliegenfitter vor allen Fenstern aber kein Problem.
Guido, der Besitzer ist sehr freundlich, und war sofort zur Stelle, als einmal ein Problem mit dem Warmwasser auftrat. Die Abrechnung der Energiekosten war akkurat und € 0,30 pro Kilowattstunde halte ich für mehr als fair.
Für den aufgerufenen Mietpreis wird man vor allem im Juni und September im Umland von Florenz in der Größe und Ausstattung kaum etwas Vergleichbares finden.

[English translation courtesy of Easy Reserve] We had a lovely time at "Villa La Collina." Everything worked fine, though it seems quite a few years have passed since the house was last renovated. Only the upstairs bedrooms have air conditioning; there is no cooling system on the ground floor. The pool is large, but the amount of chemicals used to prevent algae and cloudy water is significant; sensitive skin on children might react to this.
Mosquitoes around the house and pool were quite a nuisance, though inside the house—thanks to the fly screens on all the windows—they weren't a problem.
Guido, the owner, is very friendly and was immediately on hand when a problem with the hot water arose. The energy cost calculation was accurate, and I consider €0.30 per kilowatt-hour to be more than fair.
At the price point offered, it would be difficult to find anything comparable in terms of size and amenities in the area surrounding Florence, especially during June and September.
