Fantastic villa for 4-6 people looking for a week in the heart of Tuscany. The property and location combined give it a truly authentic Tuscan feel with phenomenal views from the outside terrace and every bedroom. It is only a 5 minute drive to the beautiful town of Rada which caters for all modern necessities. The owner was superb in accommodating alternative check in/check out times and was truly welcoming and friendly.
The villa was just as it appeared in the photos. The outdoor space is incredible. So much space. A beautiful pool area, BBQ and plenty of outdoor seating for al fresco dining. Mosquitos are prolific though - as to be expected - so just bring mossie guard and you'll be fine! Inside is charming. Rustic Italian decor but all very clear and functional. Kitchen well supplied for plenty of people. The location is up a relatively steep hill out of town with limited street lighting, so for anyone with mobility issues, it may be a tough walk. But otherwise, it is a 10-15 minute walk into the town with its amenities and train station. Easy access to Florence by train which was great to avoid city driving. For a large group wanting access to all that Tuscany has to offer, I can highly recommend this villa. We had a wonderful time.
The Villa is a perfect place for 6 people. It's convenient to all of Montalcino, especially the Fortezza and the Franci restaurant. It's well equipped and maintained. The staff are very helpful and extremely pleasant to interact with. The villa has on site parking for two (smallish) cars. My family has stayed twice in two years and will return.
We had an amazing experience while staying at Villa Castelletto. Our Villa and the entire Villa community was immaculate. The two pool areas, the bar and wine cellar was available for our use anytime during the day or night. Federico and his family could not have been more gracious hosts.
Very nice outside area with great pool and garden space. Extemly quiet area and lovley owner who is very helpful. Even though we can't recommend the Villa as the house itself was far beyond our expectations if you compare with the pictures you see online. The house is old and too many things that should be done. Lower part of the house has too much moisture and the kitchen is in a very bad condition. Due to this moisture and its smell
the lower part of the house was for us with a little baby not tolerable so we decided to use only the upper flat. The upper apartment is very small and if you want to use the kitchen the water is not draining and most of the time there's no hot water to wash the dishes so we had to clean them in the bathroom instead. Further to that the overall cleanliness was really poor. The house definitely needs some lift ups because in that condition we would not return.
[counter comment from the owner] The guests never said anything until check out about the kitchen upstairs so we had no possibility to resolve the problem as we knew nothing about it. We will start 2020 with the house renewal which I will check with good care.
We have just returned from spending one week in Tuscany, Italy and stayed at Pieve Di Sant Ippolito and thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. We had everything we needed to have a great holiday here and the hosts of this property were outstanding. The hosts were lovely and made us feel very welcome. We would highly recommend this property to any traveler. Thank you to Linda and Francesco.

Nice and calm place with beautiful views. We were helped very well when we realized our appartment did not have a private patio. The next day a new appartment was ready! The pool was a great place to relax and for the evening we can advice you to go have dinner at the restaurant, delicious and affordable! The appartment was pretty basic but comfortable!
We stayed in Certaldo for two weeks, and it couldn't have been any better! This place is paradise, and the apartment is a part of it. Being welcomed by our very friendly and helpful host Jane we checked the beautiful medieval village of Certaldo Alto, which is situated on a hill above the newer built village and a cosy world of it's own with nice restaurants, places to have a good wine and very gentle people making our holiday an outstanding trip. You can reach all of the sites you wish to see (as San Gimignano or Siena) easily by car and afterwards return to your silent home. An absolute highlight was the tower, which can be used by any guests of the house and which offers a dream-like view on the village and the surrounding beautiful landscape. Nothing could have been better, thanks a lot to Jane and her family to make it an unforgettable holiday!
