Wonderful house with great views. The drive up to the very narrow in places , not for large cars. This made going sight seeing and shopping difficult. The house cool because of high ceilings. Small kitchen but well equiped Bedrooms large but we were disappointed with the bed linen. This let the house down Great pool. We were unfortunate with the number of wasps which interfered with outdoor activities.
Very nice property, well maintained, well equipped and super-clean. Amazing views and superb swimming pool. The owners are very friendly and welcoming. Highly recommendable.
Super location - quiet and peaceful. The house worked really well for us as a family of 4 with 2 teenagers. We visited Assisi, Florence, Perugia and Montepulciano. Castiglione is a beautiful town and Lake Trasimeno has lots to offer. The swimming pool was a good size and very private.

Die Lage zur Altstadt und dem Außenring fanden wir ideal. Das Auto muss weggestellt werden, was wir aber auch nicht schlimm finden.

We found the location to the old town and the outer ring ideal. The car has to be put away, but we didn't find that bad either.
Casa molto molto molto carina anche se sarebbe stato utile un bagno al piano terra. Per il resto, per evitare di creare problemi ai proprietari che sono comunque gentili e disponibili, mi astengo dall'elencare i punti negativi della nostra esperienza. Diciamo solo che abbiamo trovato qualche difficoltà perché non siamo abituati alla vita in una campagna collinare.

For the rest, to avoid creating problems for the owners who are in any case kind and helpful, I will refrain from listing the negative points of our experience. Let's just say that we found some difficulties because we are not used to life in the hilly countryside.
La location è strategica perché vicina a molti posti da visitare, a mezz'ora da Firenze ma nelle tranquille colline del Mugello. La piscina comoda ha fatto divertire le ns bambine e una nota di merito va al ristorante La Limonaia adiacente alla ville: Cino ottimo e personale squisito. La villa andrebbe un po rinnovata negli arredi, capisco si voglia rispettare lo stile antico...ma almeno i bagni andrebbero sistemati.
[English translation courtesy of Easy Reserve] The location is strategic because it is close to many places to visit, half an hour from Florence but in the peaceful Mugello hills. The comfortable pool entertained our girls and a note of credit goes to the restaurant La Limonaia adjacent to the villas: excellent wine and exquisite staff. The villa should be a bit renovated in the furniture, I understand one wants to respect the old style ... but at least the bathrooms should be updated a bit.
