We had two wonderful weeks in the Mandorlo apartment by Spazzavento. This old farmhouse and its apartments are in very good condition, probably they were refurbished not so many years ago. The Mandorlo, specifically, has a very nice view to the valley and a pratically exclusive 100m2 garden, mostly lawn and lavender. Not to forget the very kind reception of Anna, the landlady. We recommend and we certainly try to come back.

Our group was very impressed with the Villa. The owner, Roberto, greeted us and showed us around the property. It was quiet and secluded and the property is amazing. We did have a little bit of difficulty finding the Villa originally as the signs have a different name for it. It is a beautiful place and we would definately recommend it and stay again. We had a Chef come and cook for us on the owners recommendation and had the most amazing meal. I highly suggest anyone staying here do the same. The only issue we had was the water heater as we all wanted to shower in the mornings and the hot water ran out quick.

The villa was even better than our high expectations. A full bath in every bedroom. The pool and landscape were beautiful. The owner was attentive and helped us with our travel plans. We did a chef dinner and a cooking class and both were excellent. I can't imagine a better place to spend vacation. I can't wait to go back. Cyclists will love the area!

The property is beautiful and we used San Gimingnao as a base although we went to Florence, Lucca and the Chianti county as well. The owners are most gracious and we invited them over for diner one night. The parents do not speak English but their daughter does. We had a great time!

Poggio Golo surpassed all my expectations. The photos in the photo gallery do not do it full justice as they do not adequately show how all the various areas of the villa connect so well. The garden is immaculate and the views wonderful. The children's swing, the toy house and the various garden games were an added bonus for our little granddaughter. We settled into the villa immediately as it felt very much like a home away from home. We enjoyed being able to have a barbecue as well as having a live fire on a cold evening. Poggio Golo is very well positioned making it easy to visit other special sites in Tuscany. Also it is isolated enough to provide privacy and yet close enough to shops should one need to acquire groceries etc. Thank you for a wonderful week in Tuscany!
