Very nice place with good ammenities. We attended a wedding at the Villa and everything was perfect. Highly recommend visiting Antico Borgo San Lorenzo.

This Villa is just lovely. The owner met us to take us to the Villa and was very helpful providing local information and details on restaurants etc. The property had everything we needed. Sadly we had a family emergency 3 nights into our stay and had to cancel our visit. The owner was extremely helpful and supportive through this process. We would recommend others to stay here it is a spectacular property.

The outdoor area makes this villa. Lovely pool and surrounding patio areas. Plenty of seating and the grounds are private and enormous! The inside is very basic, with a cold running shower in the ground floor wet room. Unfortunately the villa was advertised with a washing machine but no information to advise us the waste pipe is not plumbed in, unlike the water inlet. Thus on our first attempt at using we had water spilling out the back of the machine. We were verbally berated by a cleaner, (happened to be on site) who got the handyman to explain that a hose needed to be attached to the rear of the machine and fed into the toilet or bidet in the wet room. Had we known it would not of been a problem, but my husband had google translate running on his phone and therefore knew exactly the rude racial comments made by the cleaner! It is only due to this incident that we would not return and thankfully our only experience of poor hospitality in all three holidays we have enjoyed in Tuscany.

I looked around amazed at our apartment that seemed to belong to a past and elegant age. We learned later it was the farms pigsty, but only the ceiling and floor was original. The building had open beam ceilings about 45 feet by 25 feet, with a covered 45-foot by 21-foot veranda. It was like we were going to be living in place reserved for a scene in an Italian movie. It also had a large lawn area overlooking the valley with two loungers. All of this was very private, and just below us was a swimming pool.
