Een heerlijk verblijf bij een gastvrij gezin. Tijdens het verblijf hoorden we niets anders dan het gezoem van insecten. Heerlijk rustig. En dat terwijl je binnen 10 minuten alweer in de bewoonde wereld staat. Een auto is hier wel een must. Zeker een aanrader.

[English translation courtesy of Easy Reserve] A delightful stay at a hospitable family. During the stay we heard nothing but the hum of insects. Peacefully. And this while you're back in the civilized world within 10 minutes. A car is a must. Definitely recommended.

We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay at Nel Guasto. The property is of very high standard and is beautifully located. We were also well looked after by the Owner's. We would certainly recommend it to anyone. Our tip would be do make sure you dont hire too big a car as the road up is very narrow

It was a wonderful and unforgettable summer vacation with our son's family with three grandchildren at Raoul in Tuscany. logement idéalement situé pour visiter la Toscane (Sienne, San Gimignano, pienza, Pise,Volterra...).Le logemnent est conforme à la description au milieu des vignes et des oliviers, très calme,nous avons beaucoup apprécié l'accueil de Barbara. Nous recommandons vivement cette location, car nous avons eu un réel coup de cœur pour ce lieu.

[English translation courtesy of Easy Reserve] Accommodation ideally located for visiting Tuscany (Siena, San Gimignano, Pienza, Pisa, Volterra ...). As given in the description the property is exactly in the middle of vineyards and olive trees, very quiet. We enjoyed the Barbara's hospitality . We highly recommend this location because we have really fallen in love with this place.

Bonjour , Cette maison est très agréable avec une vue magnifique. La gare d'Empoli à quelques kms de la maison permet d'aller à Florence en 20 minutes ! La maison est spacieuse et relativement fraîche. Quelques détails pourraient être améliorés : pas de commodes dans plusieurs chambres uniquement grande armoire. Pas de meubles dans 2 salles de bains. Pas pratique !
Seul vrai bémol : les moustiques qui attaquent de jour (moustiques "tigres") comme de nuit. Nous n'avons pu aller acheter des produits et des ventilateurs que le lundi évidemment, les enfants ont donc été "dévorés" par les moustiques pendant presque 48 heures. En suite quelques piqures mais rien de plus. A part ça la maison et le terrain : piscine + tennis sont vraiment très agréables.

Empoli railway station is only a few miles from the holiday home and allows you to go to Florence in 20 minutes by train! The house is spacious and fairly fresh. Some details could be improved: no chests of drawers in many bedrooms but only a large wardrobe. No furniture in the bathrooms. It is not convenient!
The only real downside: the mosquitoes that attack during the day (mosquito "tigers") and in the night. We were unable to purchase products and fans before Monday, therefore children have been "devoured" by mosquitoes for almost 48 hours. Afterwards only a few bites, but nothing more. Apart from that the house and the outdoor areas (swimming pool + tennis) are really nice.
