Seven of us stayed here for a week in June. We cannot say enough good things about the villa. The views were perhaps the best to be had from any property in that area. The swimming pool was lovely and a great place to cool off from the heat of the day. We highly recommend having the owners cook dinner for you -- at least once. The food was incredible and was a great value. This was our first time to rent a property like this, so we weren't sure how it would turn out. We were extremely satisfied!

We booked this site over the internet and hoped for the best after reading the reviews. It is everything stated and more. The setting is breathtaking and every day when we sat outside eating breakfast or dinner and relaxing by the pool we couldn't stop thinking how wonderful and beautiful this little corner of the world is. I can recommend this villa as a great place to stay and also if you have the opportunity make Barbara's culinary delights a top priority.

We really enjoyed this villa (06-2012).
Stunning views and well located.
Some of the fixtures and fittings could be updated but that didn't detract at all for us. The grounds are superb and private, the agent is very helpful, had a great vacation.

Schöne, ruhige Lage. Die einzelnen Einheiten sind so gelegen, dass man von den Nachbarn fast nichts mitbekommt. Der Pool ist ein Traum, der uns die täglichen 36 Grad erträglich gemacht hat. Von den Ameisen in der Küche darf man sich nicht abschrecken lassen, man iost ja am Land. Das Restaurant in der Anlage ist zu teuer und braucht nicht mehr als ein Mal besucht werden.

The pool is a dream that has made the daily 36 degrees tolerable. From the ants in the kitchen, one should not be deterred, because you're in the countryside after all. The restaurant on the property is too expensive so we visited only once.

We really enjoyed the apartment and pool and the location was great. The thing we did not realize is that we were in a small addition onto a big house that was rented by a large group of other people. There was not much in the way of privacy and because the large group spent most of their time outside on the patio (right outside of our window) we did not get any sleep at all. We did not have a table outside to sit at as the photos on the website showed and use of the pool was limited as there were alot of children in it at all times.
The room was clean and comfortable. The kitchen was very handy for cooking and it was nice to have a fridge. Anca (sp?) was wonderful, both a great chef and helpful with hints of things to do and places to eat in the area.
We would probably come back to Pornoletto if we had enough people in our party to rent the whole house, but as far as the apartment attached to it ... not the greatest set up.
