This ancient rural farm building has been finely restructured to form 4 comfortable apartments, which are available to be rented all together to a single group of friends or family. Located at the foot of the hill from which emerged beginnings of the famous city of Cortona, this property has a beautiful garden area that is well maintained and contains a swimming pool for the exclusive use of guests.
The 4 apartments are decorated with taste and are very welcoming.
Just 2 km away lies the town of Camucia with a train station that allows for comfortable journeys to important towns within Tuscany and Umbria. A bus stop, which allows for easy reaching of the nearby towns, can be found just 100m from the property.
A secondary road (which connects Cortona with Castiglion Fiorentino) passes roughly 50m from the property.
Available to guests: large, well-maintained outside space (completely fenced) with swimming pool reserved for the exclusive use of guests (8 x 5 m - depth 1.5 m – open from 01/05 to 30/09), barbecue.
Free internet connection (WI-FI), parking at the property.
The ground floor offers a common room, furnished with table and chairs and with a kitchen (oven, fridge-freezer, dishwasher) – this is not accessed directly from the apartments.

molto ampio sia all'interno che all'esterno ed anche la piscina era idonea a ricevere tutti gli ospiti contemporaneamente.
Gentilissimo il proprietario.
Casa senza vicini ed immersa nei girasoli, ma ben servita dalla viabilità stradale.

Il Gelso Di Mario was even better than described in your visual description of this site. There were 17 of us and every one had a great time. the accommodations were super clean and large. There is a large gathering room with a full kitchen with a table that seats 20. The pool was large and very enjoyable after a day of museum wine tasting and lots of eating . The location is near perfect, easily reachable by auto or train. The Host Mario M. was gracious helpful and informative. It was easy to reach Cortona , Perugia, Florence and other surrounding locations. I would most certainly return to this villa in the future. John McLear
