Two welcoming apartments situated in the historical center of a typical Chianti village, San Donato in Poggio whose origins date back to the 11th century. The original city walls surround this nice small town that has preserved its ancient charm and characteristics during the centuries. Within the city walls there are nice restaurants, pizzerias and general stores. All of the 2 apartments have been recently restored and provide nicely furnished interiors.
This property is half way between Florence and Siena, in easy access to the most important art cities in Tuscany.
A public parking is approx. 100 m from the property away (guests are allowed to park in front of the house to load their luggage).
Distances: San Donato in Poggio a few meters away, the Chianti villages area with 10/25 km, San Gimignano 28 km, Florence (airport) 30 km, Siena 40 km, Volterra 51 km, Arezzo 100 km, Lucca 105 km, Cortona 115 km, Pisa (airport) 115 km.
At guests’ disposal: the property owners run a farming estate producing excellent olive oil and wine available for clients to be tasted and purchased.
Extra Services: Baby bed available upon request (free of charge). Maid service by arrangement € 13,- / per hour to be paid on the spot. Bikes available for rent.
