Charming independent villa with private pool situated in panoramic location on the hills surrounding Florence, near the small town of Rufina. This property dating back to the 15th century is quietly situated and offers nice views over the surrounding landscape. The owners who are very nice and friendly people, live on the premises but do not share the use of the pool or the garden. The villa comprises a restored barn with its outbuilding (adjoining the owners house) and offers nice outdoor areas with a gazebo, tables and chairs.
The access to the property is via an unpaved but well-maintained road of approx. 2,5 km.
Distances: Rufina with general stores and railway station (daily trains to Florence) 7 km away, Florence 35 km, Arezzo 80 km away, San Gimignano 85 km, Cortona 100 km, Lucca 115 km away, Pisa 130 km. The Chianti Classico area with its charming villages is within 50 – 70 km.
At guests’ disposal: personal furnished garden, private swimming-pool (14 x 7 m – min. depth 1,2 m – max. depth 1,5 m – open from 01/05 through 30/09) set in panoramic location, table-tennis, barbecue.
Pool towels are provided. The property owners (when are there) allow their guests to use their computer with internet connection.
Parking within the grounds.
Extra services to be paid on the spot: Baby bed and high chair (free of charge). Washing-machine (€ 10,- / per washing – the washing is made by the property owners).
Pets are allowed free of charge (the property owners have a mild German shepherd ).

On the arrival day, the owners offer their guests a buffet dinner with “crostini”, cold pasta, local cheeses, cold cuts, water and wine.
