This property was restored in 2010 and turned into 6 nice apartments (one is occupied by the owners), all of which providing tastefully furnished, welcoming interiors (with new pieces of furniture). The outside areas are spacious and offer a nice pool with solarium. The access to the property is via an unpaved but well-maintained road. Distances: Levane with general stores 3 km away, Montevarchi with railway station (trains for Florence and Arezzo) 6 km, Arezzo 45 km away, Siena 50 km, Florence 65 km away, the lovely town of Cortona 80 km, Volterra 90 km away, Perugia 120 km. away. Within a few kilometers there are nice outlets where it is possible to buy well-known Italian brands such as Gucci, Prada, Valentino, Ferragamo.. At guests’ disposal: large outside areas, shared swimming-pool (12 x 6 m – min. depth 1,3 m – max. depth 1,5 m – open from 01/05 to 30/09), open-air shower (cold and warm water), changing room near the pool, barbecue. All of the apartments provide satellite TV, air-conditioning and free WI-FI internet connection. Shared laundry. Parking within the grounds. We had a wonderful 5-day stay, just relaxing by the pool, walking and cycling around the area, and wining/dining outside by the moonlight. We will never forget this short stay. The staff was totally helpful and agreable, and their wine just as unforgettable. The decorating inside the unit was tasteful and the beds are very comfortable. Monica was very sweet and helpful in providing suggestions for touring wineries in the area.
