Lovely house with private swimming pool, located just a short distance from Cortona and Lake Trasimeno. The small town of Pietraia is just 3km away and offers shops that cover basic needs.
Well -furnished in a country style , Casa Violina can accomodate up to 7/8 guests, thanks to its 4 bedrooms and large, bright interiors . It is composed of an apartment located on the first floor of a villa, where the property’s owners occupy the ground floor ( they are warm and friendly people who respect the privacy of guests ) and an outbuilding ( completely independent, only few meters away) where 2 additional bedrooms are available.
The owners leave the garden and swimming pool for the exclusive use of guests.
This lovely rental offers a fenced garden in which lies the beautiful swimming pool – just recently constructed. There is also a beautiful barbecue zone with a lovely patio, dining table and stone barbecue.-
The location of this rental would allow you to easily reach many of the most interesting places and cities to visit in Tuscany. Lake Trasimeno, with beaches for bathing and dotted with small charming towns is one place not to be missed and can be found just 10km away.

What a fantastic place. Very clean rooms and wonderful hosts that are on hand if needed but leave you to feel the house and grounds are yours. The pool is a great size and there is plenty of seats and shade as well as an outside eating area and BBQ. It is very rural so would probably need a car (where there is safe own entrance gated parking). We went with 2 kids (16 and 9) and they loved the place which was peaceful and beautiful. The sunsets over the fields are amazing as well. Only negative was the hard beds but this didn't spoil the holiday at all
