Casa Poggio alla Capanna is a typical stone house with ancient origins, situated in a hilly and panoramic position 2 km from the village of Capolona,where there are shops, restaurants and services of all kinds.
The property consists of two houses, in one the owners live (1 couple and one dog) and the other is available to our welcome guests.
The ceilings in wood and bricks, the original terracotta floors and a simple and comfortable furniture are combined with wonderful Persian rugs giving to the house a cozy and cosmopolitan atmosphere.
The city of Arezzo events and services. Approx. 10 km away you find the city of Arezzo that during the whole year offers many folk and cultural events, including the Giostra del Saracino which twice a year, in June and in September, animates the city with knights and horses, and the Antiques Fair, taking place the first Saturday and Sunday of each month.
Outdoor spaces, pergola and swimming pool. All around the house a large space, completely fenced (about 1,500 sqm) and partly shaded by tall trees, where there is a panoramic swimming pool (size 4 x 8 m, depth 1.50 m) and a pergola equipped with table and chairs for outdoor dining, all reserved for the exclusive use of guests.

FIRST FLOOR: with access from both internal and external stairs there are 2 double bedrooms and a bathroom with shower accessible from both bedrooms. The two bedrooms are equipped with air conditioning.
EQUIPMENT: refrigerator with freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, small electric oven, microwave, toaster, filter coffee machine, espresso coffee machine with pods, immersion blender, satellite TV, Wi-Fi Internet access, iron and ironing board, hairdryer , mosquito nets, air conditioning in the bedrooms.

Abbiamo trascorso dieci giorni meravigliosamente rilassanti, ospiti di Martina e Shapour a Poggio alla Capanna. L’abitazione è piccola ma accogliente, pulita ed equipaggiata con TUTTO quello che può servire. I proprietari sono attenti, si occupano del giardino e della piscina, ma allo stesso tempo sono di una discrezione squisita. Anche il loro cane, Shadi, è educata mai invadente, anzi, si è rivelata un’ottima compagna di giochi per i nostri tre figli.
[English translation courtesy of Easy Reserve] We spent ten wonderfully relaxing days, guests of Martina and Shapour at Poggio alla Capanna. The house is small but cozy, clean and equipped with EVERYTHING you need. The owners are attentive, they take care of the garden and the swimming pool, but at the same time they are of exquisite discretion. Even their dog, Shadi, is never intrusive, on the contrary, it has proved to be an excellent playmate for our three children.
