Wir haben eine wunderschöne Woche in der Ferienwohnung Ortensia verbracht. Die Wohnung ist sehr sauber und sehr schön eingerichtet. Es ist so gemacht wie man sich den toskanischen Stil vorstellt. Teracottafarbene Fliesen im Bad. Holz an der Decke und Blumenbilder an den Wänden. Die Terrasse und der Garten sind traumhaft und was in der Beschreibung gar nicht erwähnt wird, ist der Ausblick auf San Gimignano. Der ist sensationell. Sonnenuntergang mit Blick auf die Türme. Sooo schön.
Aber wenn man dort Urlaub macht, sollte man eine Schere mitbringen, einen Vorlegelöffel oder sonst was um das Essen aus dem Topf zu kriegen und Kopfkissen :-) Die in der Wohnung vorhandenen waren uns zu hart. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und haben uns ihre Telefonnummer gegeben falls was ist.
San Gimignano ist in einer Viertelstunde über einen Feldweg zu erreichen. Der geht zwar bergauf bergab ist aber auch mit Buggy, Kinderwagen oder ähnlichem befahrbar. Der Supermarkt ist auch ganz nah, da sind wir aber eh immer mit dem Auto hingefahren.¿Recomendaría esta propiedad a un amigo? Sí

Although a bit difficult to find (look for il Melograno), it was lovely. Sabrina, the owner, does not speak English but she is very nice. The place is clean and comfortable. The only suggestion I would make is that they print out an information sheet, like how to get to the supermarket in Poggibonsi, how to use the dishwasher and washing machine, how to contact Sabrina if you have a question... We succeeded through trial and error so everything worked out, but two of us understand Italian. Beautiful property and easy access (by car) to San Gimignano. It's is a bit of a long hike there but we did it because we enjoy walking and running.

Nous avons bien apprécié la location du grand appartement type maisonnette. Nous étions une famille de quatre personnes et avec trois chambres séparées. L\'espace était bien suffisant et il ne manquait rien de particulier au niveau de l\'équipement. Un accès direct à la superbe piscine que nous n\'avons que peu utilisé car le temps n\'était pas très beau. Un bon rapport avec les propriétaires malgré la différence de langue. La situation est cependant assez éloignée de tout commerce (magasin, restaurant etc.) ce qui est une difficulté à prendre en compte. À recommander à ceux qui recherchent le calme et la quiétude des grand espaces de la Toscane.

This unusual facility is strategically located in an area that offers easy access to the surrounding Florence/Tuscany sights, whether it be shopping, historical interests, outdoor activities, or dining. It is filled with some unusual, interesting antiques and offers a unique experience in terms of living in this "castle-like" tower. The kitchen is well set-up with amenities, and the beds are comfortable. There are, however, some problems with parking. We were told that there was parking next to the unit and, if that was full, there was a large public parking lot a short distance away, which was true. What we weren't told was that the three close units were paid parking during "working hours" and the public lot was subject to being usurped for a town fair. Subsequently our rental Audi was towed and damaged in the process. While the owner graciously paid for the tow, he blamed me for not seeing the sign written in Italian that said the event was taking place. If we had been advised, we would have taken precautions. Now we are subject to paying damage for the car. I never rent a place if I don't have car access, and I want the terms expressed clearly. Is it free? Are there restrictions? Is it on the property or not? These are reasonable requests. The second issue was the extraordinary number of stairs. We had to keep our luggage on the main floor because it was impossible for us to bring it up five flights. It is a tower, but you don't realize how daunting until you're actually there. The steps are narrow and irregular, which doesn't help. In all fairness to renters, I think your company has an obligation to clarify the issues with this place. I would not stay here again.

Objekt sensational. "Five houses" The only drawback, on cold days the moisture on the ground floor.

Ein wahres Bijou. Mit viel Liebe zum Detail, geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Küche ist komplett eingerichtet, mit allem, was das Herz begehrt. Alles in Topzustand und absolut sauber! Unsere Ansprechpartnerin vor Ort ist ein wahrer Schatz!

Everything we were looking for in a vacation rental !! After day trips around Tuscany and we loved to return to this quiet, comfortable home at the end of the day. The owners were so wonderful and accomodating. We will definitely want to stay here on our next trip to Italy. Thank you for everything :)

Perfect location to plan day trips around the region and in a beautiful setting. Marco, the owner, was always very quick to respond to any needs and extremely helpful. Hope to be back.

We booked La Capinera for a week for our honeymoon and just loved it.
We were greeted by the owners with glasses of fizz to celebrate our wedding, and were very soon left on our own in our little paradise in Tuscany.
A great base to see Florence, Pisa, San Gimignano, Sienna and the Chianti wine region, we were torn between traversing the Italian countryside cursing the SatNav and relaxing by our very own private pool.
We cooked, we drank, we relaxed and had the time of our life.
A wonderful place with wonderful memories.
