The property is very authentic and nice to stay in. The owner was very nice and helped us in every way he could. He took care that our stay would be comfortable and great.
Maria, the owner, is absolutely lovely. A charming villa and regrets that we couldn't stay longer than our 3 nights. The wlelcome package was fabulous. Grazie Maria!!

We stayed 12 people at the Villa in Mid October to celebrate my mother's birthday. We could not have been happier with the villa! It is nicely furnished, all the rooms are very nice, the dining room/living room is very spacious and there is even an extra smaller living room, which we used for the kids to play. The kitchen is well equipped even though it is on the small side. The pool area is beautiful and well kept. The surroundings are beautiful. We had a chef that came to cook for us one night. I can really recommend that! The food was absolutely excellent, even though there was a bit too much of it, and the chef and his assistant were very pleasant.
I can also highly recommend a place called Fattoria Poggio Alloro. This is a farm / B&B / restaurant, with absolutely lovely people growing organic wine, olives and saffron and serving amazing food together with their excellent wines with a view that is absolutely magic. You cannot be in the area without visiting this place! Also a visit to the adorable town of San Gimignano cannot me missed.
This place was beautiful! The rooms were lovely, bathrooms stunning, and you can't beat the view of the rolling hills of Tuscany. I would definitely recommend renting a car for this location as it is not easy to get around via bus or public transit.
This villa was great! Very quiet and private. Clean, beautiful and comfortable. The owner, Mauro, was gracious and welcoming. Out of town by just a bit, so having a vehicle is necessary. Directions to villa worked well and are necessary to follow. Its like driving to your private estate!
communication was a bit of a problem , we were told somethings and then those changed..ie. use of towels..as well there were cleanliness concerns when we first moved in..those were handled well...the actual villa is very nice , lots of room, altho there is considerable difference between bedrooms, ie storage....we were unsucessful drying clothes in the high humidity, but that was seasonal..early Oct....bbq a few meals and the dining area and kitchen were very good...excellent location
We are two mid twenties American newlyweds on our honeymoon, neither of which had traveled to Europe before.
Our time at Casa Paola could not have been more perfect. Very tranquil and relaxing, beautiful scenery and wonderful hosts. The property is far enough out to feel rural and secluded and yet close enough to hop on a bus and be in Florence in 30 minutes. The house itself is very nice, the pool was wonderful. We did not have a car but didn't really mind. We took a cab to/from the train station in florence (~40 euro) and other than that walked everywhere, including the grocery store. The hill is steep, but doable and there are stairs.
I can't say enough about the graciousness and generosity of the hosts. If you're booking here for a relaxing Tuscan getaway you will not be disappointed!
The host was VERY accommodating! Met us in the square and escorted us to the property. The apartments were very nice and you honestly cannot beat the location!! We will be back next year after our daughter gets married in Tuscany and will be renting from them again!
