Peaceful, a lot of privacy, good size swimming pool, nice house with airconditioning in every room, fenced (large!) garden which is ideal with children, well equipped kitchen, fantastic!

Wir wohnten im Nebengebäude vom Schloss welches direkt an einer Straße lag. Insbesondere am Wochenende war an Schlaf kaum zu denken, da die Autos und Motorräder mit hoher Geschwindigkeit direkt am Fenster vorbeifuhren.
Zum Haus ist zu sagen, dass die Fotos den Zustand besser darstellen als es in Wirklichkeit ist. Die Austattung der Küche ist mäßig. Man sollte einiges von zu Hause mitbringen. Geschirrs ist nur 4-Fach vorhanden.
Pool und Außenanlage ist in Ordnung, aber wenig gepflegt.
Vor Ort ist fast ständig ein Büro für die Gäste besetzt, allerdings lässt die die Freundlichkeit sowie Hilfsbereitschaft zu wünschen übrig. Ein Lichtblick ist der GUISEPPE, der gutgelaunte Hausmeister des Anwesens.
Schade, wir hatten mehr erwartet. Nur, wer unbedingt mal in einem Schloss wohnen möchte, dem ist eine Buchung zu empfehlen, dann aber darauf achten, dass man nicht in einem der vielen Nebengebäude landet.

We lived in the outbuilding of the castle which was right on a street. Especially on the weekends sleep was hard to imagine, as the cars and motorcycles drove past the window at high speed.
To the house is to say that the photos represent the state better than it is in reality. The equipment of the kitchen is moderate. You should bring some pieces from your home. Dishes are only 4-fold available.
Pool and outdoor area is ok, but little maintained.
On-site there is almost always a reception open for the guests, but the friendliness and helpfulness left a lot to be desired. A bright spot is GIUSEPPE, the jovial caretaker of the property.
It is a pity, we expected more. Only, if you really want to live in a castle, a booking is recommended, but then make sure that you do not end up in one of the many outbuildings.¿Recomendaría esta propiedad a un amigo? Sí

The villa (Rustica) was lovely and spotlessly clean but access was difficult. I'm well used to rural villas in Tuscany and Umbria but this was the worst I've encountered.

we enjoyed the stay very much, it is outside of the village and calm , super to relax. pool was cleaned every day and the house is well fitted with all necessary house staff. landlady very nice

Tutto bene?
A fabulous villa – with an aftertaste.
Beautiful setting. Spacious rooms. Comfortable beds. Extensive kitchen equipment.
Very good and relaxing for groups of family and friends, but …
Access is difficult
Remote setting, difficult to reach. - You are warned in the description that the access is not suitable for a minivan or minibus. We were travelling in a BMW X5 and only just fitted through the very narrow streets of Vertine by clapping in the wing mirrors.
The pool
The remote setting seems to make it difficult for a pool service too! So the pool is not being looked after properly. During our stay we informed the caretaker, but nothing much changed, except our swimwear turned yellow and our eyes stung. So we could not use the pool as often as we would have liked. We told the owner that in all the other houses we stayed in over the last ten years the quality and cleanliness of the water was checked daily. Hopefully water quality will improve for future guests.
Big brother
We felt that we were being watched. Cleaners come to the house on Wednesdays and Saturdays, which is very helpful. But the caretaker comes by daily to ask “tutto bene?” just to check for the owner that everything is in order. We felt this was intrusive and our patience grew thin when friends of ours visited for a drink and were questioned whether they were also staying at the villa.
Deposit
Make sure you check the house for pre-existing damage. Damages will be fully deducted from your deposit. This may prove expensive. In our case: A stain on the kitchen table – we could not know because the table was covered with a cloth when we arrived.
High quality comes at a price … but if this price includes a badly maintained pool and a big brother feeling, then our conclusion is : tutto not bene!

Excellente adresse! Maison très bien équipée, spacieuse et fonctionnelle avec une très belle piscine que nous avons beaucoup appréciée étant donnée la chaleur toscane.
Terrasse très agréable, grande cour pour garer 3 voitures, portail électrique permettant d'être en parfaite sécurité.
Le petit village de Lucignano est charmant et nous avons aimé nous y balader le soir et profiter de ses petits commerces et cafés.
La maison est idéalement située pour visiter tous les lieux touristiques en 1 heure de voiture maximum.
Nous recommandons vivement la Casa Clementina!

Great place! House very well equipped, spacious and functional with a very nice pool that we have appreciated because of the Tuscan heat.
Very nice terrace, large yard to park 3 cars, electric gate to be in perfect safety.
The small village of Lucignano is charming and we enjoyed walking there at night and enjoying its small shops and cafes.
The house is ideally located to visit all tourist places in 1 hour maximum by car.

Une très jolie bâtisse avec une vue majestueuse sur la Toscane. Une grande piscine très bien entretenue. L'intérieur est simple, rustique. L'idéal pour découvrir la Toscane.

It was a great holiday! The view, the house and the swimmingpool. The owners are really nice. They brought us a selfmade cake and wine and even ice-Cream for the children because it was so hot. They were great!
