One of the most amazing weeks that I can remember. The villa is the perfect place if you want to relax for a week and not have a care in the world. The interior is stunning and makes you feel like you have been whisked away into another time, whilst the views are simply breathtaking. The photos honestly do not show how incredible the views are.
We only had two slight issues, one being the wifi was very temperamental (if you need to work) and also communicating with Antonio (the grounds keeper) as he does not speak any English. However neither of these stop us from having an amazing week.
It is a fantastic place I truly recommend it. The pictures doesn’t show how beautiful and peaceful it is. It is the true Italian experience and the owners are helpful and welcoming. I cannot recommendation it more highly if you want to have a unique experience I Tuscany. Loved the House, the pool and surroundings.
We had a fantastic time at Il Casolare. The owners of the house are a very friendly family. They also maintain the garden and the house very well.
The house is big enough for 10 people and the swimming pool was almost all the time are private pool.
We regret that we had to leave after 2 weeks. We could easily stayed 4 weeks! I guess we will go back one time.

The villa and location was excellent, Cortona is a lovely town. The villa could have been a little cleaner and we were expecting a cleaner at least once when we were there for two weeks, but no one appeared. Had to ask for more towels as well. The owner and our contact were helpful though and we fud get towels once we asked. Pool was clean and villa surroundings very good.
Sehr ruhig gelegenes, einsames Ferienhaus. Wenn man nicht täglich Ausflüge mit dem Auto unternehmen möchte und Ruhe sucht ideal! Für normale Autos ist die Schotterpiste kein Problem. Da das Grundstück eingezäunt ist, auch für Familien mit kleinen Kindern geeignet. Die Waldbewohner bleiben draußen. Der Pool besteht aus einem flachen (Erwachsene können noch schwimmen ohne anzustoßen, Kinder können stehen) und einem tiefen Bereich. Wenn man Früh den Reinigungsrobotter anwirft bleibt der Pool auch schön sauber, man befindet sich im Wald da fällt das ein oder andere Blatt und Insekt ins Wasser. Zum Sonnen ist genug Platz, Schirme und Bäume bieten Sonnenschutz. In der mit Gasherd und Geschirrspühler ausgestatteten Küche gibt es zusätzlich zum normal Kühlschrank noch einen Gefrierschrank mit drei Fächern. Das Haus war insgesamt sehr sauber, alle Fenster haben Insektenrollos und Fensterläden. Internet (ausreichend für Planung der Ausflüge) gibt es über einen tragbaren LTE/WiFi Router.
Very nice, light and clean house. Teriffic view to the mountains. Lost of space as well inside as outside. The garden and skimming pool are maintained well. Very pittoresk small village. Very friendly owner. It was a graat vacation!
Very nice location, rather isolated and well maintained. Beautiful house, better organized than visible on the pictures provided on the website. All rooms communicate inside the house (mentioned otherwise in the description). Pool was cleaned by a pool boy every other day.
