This is a beautiful villa, impeccably cared for in the most stunning location. Every picture is true to life! We were 2 couples staying for the week. We loved the restaurants on the hillside as well as Cortona. A completely enjoyable stay and the owner was always available for recommendations! Lovely!
Es war ein traumhafter Urlaub. Das Haus und der Pool haben unseren Erwartungen entsprochen. Die Lage ist traumhaft. Ruhe und Erholung pur. Wir kommen wieder

Wir verbrachten zwei wunderschöne Wochen in der Villa Le Balze. Die Anlage ist hervorragend gepflegt und besitzt einen schönen großen Pool. 10 Personen können hier komfortabel wohnen. Mitten in einer einzigartigen Landschaft kann man relaxen und hat doch schöne Ausflugsziele (Florenz, Chianti, Arezzo,...) in der Nähe. Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und man kann auf Vorbestellung in Ihrer Gaststätte gut und preiswert essen. Ein 3-Gängemenü mit allen Getränken kostet 20.- für Erwachsene und 10.- für Kinder. Einzig das WLAN ist schwach. Aber im Urlaub soll man sowieso abschalten. Die Gegend ist touristisch nicht so überlaufen und es gibt in der Umgebung einge günstige und gute Lokale (z. B. Pizzeria Tony in Faella).
[English translation courtesy of Easy Reserve] We spent two wonderful weeks at Villa Le Balze. The property is well maintained and has a nice large pool. 10 people can live here comfortably. In the middle of a unique landscape you can relax and visit beautiful destinations (Florence, Chianti, Arezzo, ...) nearby. The landlords are very friendly and you can order good and cheap food in their restaurant. A 3-course menu with all drinks costs 20.- for adults and 10.- for children. Only the WLAN is weak. But on vacation you should switch off anyway. The area is not too crowded with tourists and there are cheap and good places in the area (for example Pizzeria Tony in Faella).
Wir haben wunderschöne 2 Wochen verbracht. Wunderbares Wetter versüßt natürlich immer wieder den Urlaub. Aber das Haus war ausreichend ausgestattet. Die Terrasse mit dem schönen Ausblick war die Krönung. Wir kommen wieder.
[English translation courtesy of Easy Reserve] We spent beautiful 2 weeks. Wonderful weather naturally sweetened the holiday again and again. But the house was adequately equipped. The terrace with the beautiful view was the crowning glory. We will be back.
Wir hatten alle Wohnungen gemietet und dazu die Gemeinschaftsräume. Die beiden Häuser sind in einem Topzustand, alles (Räume, Betten, Geschirr usw.) ist sehr sauber. Der Garten mit den vielen Rosen ist ein Traum, der Pool absolut einmalig. Alles wird jeden Tag liebevoll gepflegt. Der Besitzer ist jeden Tag vor Ort und unterstützt sehr gerne. Es war rundum ein wunderschöner Aufenthalt, sehr sehr gerne wieder.
[English translation courtesy of Easy Reserve] We had rented all the apartments and the common areas. The two houses are in top condition, everything (rooms, beds, dishes, etc.) is very clean. The garden with the many roses is a dream, the pool absolutely unique. Everything is lovingly cared for every day. The owner is on site every day and very happy to assist. It was a wonderful stay, we would very much like to stay again.
What a lovely setting. So peaceful. And Signor C was a cheerful and welcoming owner who checked to see all was well. The pool is a welcome addition and a key advantage of it being above ground is that it warms up nicely. Perfect for an end of day dip. All the basics are there. Bed was comfortable. But spent most of our time was spent outside. Lots of shady or sunny spots to choose from, watching the wildlife. Local town Casciana Terme is not far away (walkable if you are fit - free parking if not) and has a small supermarket, bakery and bars and a good supermarket is not too much further north. Recommend a visit to the Spa baths if only for a coffee and a pastry overlooking the town square. The garden furniture has been updated also. Watch out when turning off the main road into the approach road. It's unmade and uneven but easily passable if approached with care. You don't need any damage to your hire car's underside. TV is in German only.
What a delightful place to stay! The villa is gorgeous - everything you need to get away from life and enjoy the hillside olive groves and view across the valley. So close to the gorgeous town of Lucca make this an awesome place to holiday with family and friends.
Very nice apartment, large size rooms and high ceilings. There is a lift to get your luggage up to the 3rd floor unit. The property managers that met us were helpful. Air conditioning was greatly appreciated once we got them working. 15 - 20 minute walk to St. Marco Square. We did not learn the tram lines. We had difficulty finding a grocery store nearby. It was a nice place but felt removed from the history of Florence. It was a long walk after a busy hot day in the historical district.
