Due to the lack of maintenance and privacy we would not recommend this house to a friend or family member. Also the distance of the pool from the house is disappointing. This house needs a serious makeover to meet the expectations created by the advertisement. A suggestion to the owner would be to hire somebody that speaks english to take care of the key exchange. It took three hours for the entire family to leave the house after our arrival and the owner would show up unexpected. This house does not meet the standards of nowadays one expects when renting a villa.

Nice house, but nearly impossible to reach by a sports of expensive car. At the end, for two km's the road is in a central african shape.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villa Leonardo. We were a party of seven, and there were more than enough space and comfort for us. The location was perfect, a very tranquil place but still close to services and shops. The villa and the surroundings matched the description given, and were beautiful and quite well maintained. The owners were very friendly, even though communication in other languages than Italian was a bit challenging. However, it was easily solved by translation over the phone. The kitchen appliances were a bit old, and some malfunctioned, probably due to the chalky tap water, but when mentioning this to the owners they immediately remedied the problem (and came with a new coffee maker and complimentary wine bottles from their own vineyard). One evening we booked the dinner at the villa, and it was the owners cooking and serving for us. The food was delicious and the experience was charming. Overall we would recommend Villa Leonardo for anyone who is looking for a Tuscan holiday out in the countryside.
