We stayed at La Fenice in September 2019 for a week.
The villa is absolutely beautiful and located in an outstanding, peaceful setting nestled into the Tuscan hills.
The owner, Gabriele, could not have been more helpful and made sure that we had everything we needed and more to enjoy our stay.
An absolute pleasure to stay there and would definitely visit again if the oppotunity arose.

We spent 2 wonderful weeks in Irene's villa. We cannot Express how amazing both Irene and the Villa were. The villa is excellently fitted out with every home comfort whilst retaining its authentic Tuscan feel.
The villagers are friendly and welcoming and the shop and restaurant staff all speak quite good English.

Irene, our host, is nothing short of phenomenal. She ensures every comfort is met and checks up on you daily without being intrusive. She provides excellent advice around things to see and do around Tuscany. In short Irene makes your holiday easy and simply incredible.

What you see is definitely what you get. This place is stunning. Spacious, providing all the facilities required for a week long (or longer) stay in Tuscany. The villa is close enough to the town centre to walk but walking should not be limited just to the town centre, explore the walking path off to the left of the property or explore the magnificent gardens surrounding the villa that we discovered too late to fully enjoy. Decor is very English rather than Italian but don't let that get in your way. The property manager was very attentive to our arrival following our delay ensuring all was in order for us. Its always good to be mindful of paying deposit and cleaning in cash, an aspect easily overlooked so dont leave yourselves short. Poggibonsi is perfectly located to reaching most of the Tuscan region. Enjoy!

What a great holiday we had at La Rogaia, Summer 2019. Comfortable (including comfy beds!), cool, spacious, a lovely pool, gardens and land, and a great base for exploring Tuscany. Paulo and his Mother were welcoming and kind, full of recommendations and food gifts. Highly recommended.
