Ein schönes Anwesen in ruhiger Lage in der Nähe eines Weinguts. Die Anfahrt erfolgt über enge Straßen und Feldwege. Ein wirklich schönes Haus am Waldrand. alle Schlafzimmer befinden sich unter dem Dach und sind im Sommer entsprechend warm. Leider sind alle Mosquito-Netze an den Fenstern brüchig, weshalb man nachts die Fenster nicht öffnen kann. We had an excellent 2 weeks in this beautiful house. The photos don’t do it justice. Our host Sabrina and her family live next door. She was lovely and helpful with anything we needed or asked. She cleans the pool and outside area every morning and evening. It’s kept beautiful. But they don’t impose at all. There are many restaurants within 10–15 min walk. Up a huge hill. We certainly got our exercise in before dinner. La Piano is good for something fancy and different. Il Gallo Nero was amazing for pasta dishes. It was the best pasta we’d ever eaten and was only €10 a bowl. We had 5 main courses, 3 desserts and 2 bottles of wine and it was under €100! Unbelievable value. Da Muzzicone was lovely too. We had amazing ribeye steak. There were 3 good supermarkets within a few minutes drive. Train station is nearby so you can travel further. We took a train to Florence for the day which was lovely. We also drove to Cortona, Pienza and Montepulciano. All lovely places to see. Beautiful scenery everywhere you go. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely go back. Highly recommend.

Beautiful area to visit and explore. Accommodation was rustic but fun to stay in. It’s a very old building with much charm. Don’t expect luxury like duvets or any supplies, but it is comfortable enough. They have a pool and bar. You cannot get food before late afternoon or evening so you are on your own at this level. The restaurant is average. It’s a good base to stay in to explore the area. A fun experience. They should open the bar in the morning for coffee or cuppucinos but they do not. Good restaurants are close by. I highly recommend bistrot Lazaro in Montespertoli. Amazing food and service at that restaurant.
