An sich ist die Gegend sehr schön und die Lage toll für die Städte Siena, Florenz, Pisa. Wir sind bis Pienza und Montepulciano gefahren. Aber die Ausstattung und das Niveau der Wohnung ist leider sehr bescheiden. Die Betten sind furchtbar. Sehr durchgelegen, oder man spürt jede Feder und die Moskitonetze helfen nicht wirklich vor den Mücken. Es gab noch nicht mal eine Zitronenpresse, eine Platte vom Herd ging nicht. Dafür war der Pool sehr schön und ganz nah. Das Frühstück haben wir einmal in Anspruch genommen. Das war vorzüglich. Die Straße/Eher Feldweg zur Unterkunft hoch ist sehr holprig und nicht für alle Fahrzeuge geeignet. Unser Auto war nachher extrem staubig, aber das scheint in der Gegend normal zu sein. Wenn man für 2-3 Tage eine Unterkunft braucht, ist es ok. 10 Tage würde ich dort nicht mehr verbringen.

We had an amazing and restful time at this villa - as others have said, the pictures don't do it justice. It's set in a beautiful part of the country side, short walk to San Donato with shops, cafes, bars and restaurants. Larger supermarkets 15 mins drive away so a car is recommended - and easy to manage from Florence airport but allow plenty of time for collecting and dropping off hire cars at the airport as you need to use a short transfer bus and you might need to wait for 1 or 2 of the 20 minute loops to get on. We were 6 in the villa so all 4 children had their own rooms and plenty of space. The house is very well equipped and the owners have really worked hard to make it a home from home. Kitchen is very well equipped, there are lots of places to sit in the property by yourself or with others and the table football and table tennis table were a great addition. The local bourse management (Debora and family - you get to meet everyone! :-) are very supportive with advice when you need it but also leave you alone to enjoy the villa. Weather was hot (32 degrees generally) but the stone house manages the heat well and the air conditioning is perfectly adequate. We particularly enjoyed the volunteer-run pizza restaurant next to the Coop. Great fun and I can't think of anything about the property or the holiday that we could improve -- and of course you have Florence on your doorstep (use the 'park and ride'), and Pisa, Sienna, Lucca all very reachable for a day trip. If you pick this villa, I'm sure you'll have a great time.

This rental was clean, airy, spacious and well supplied. There were insect screens on the doors and a large parking place. There was a private outside dining area and private sun beds. There was free use of the pool, which was exceptional, exactly as shown in the photos and which was shared with the family living in the house of which the rental was part. The whole site is in a wood and accessed via a steep dirt track - a car is essential. Everyone was very friendly and we enjoyed our stay here.

Das Haus ist wunderschön gelegen, die Vermieter sind freundlich. Man spürt gar nicht, dass sie nebenan leben. Alles ist sehr sauber und man fühlt sich sehr wohl. Wir hatten eine wunderschönen Urlaub

We had a fantastic stay! The house met all our expectations, and the private pool is amazing. The surroundings are beautiful, and the house is located close to Lucca. You’re truly situated on a Tuscan hill. The house is easy to reach. The owners are wonderful.
