The house is substantial and beautiful. It is wonderfully isolated, about one mile down a dirt track. Our only comment about the facilities is that there is no washing machine, and that is frustrating for a property that costs this much to rent. The MAJOR problem is that the neighbouring farmer (whose wife looks after the house) keeps two dogs in a small pound within the grounds of the villa and they bark EVERY morning at dawn. Sleep was therefore disturbed.

Beautiful quiet location with great view over the valley. Furnishings very tasteful - not fancy but a great fit with the style of the house and the surroundings. Very comfortable; easy to feel at home. Each of the 5 bedrooms is well-sized - this truly is for 10 people. Lucca (one of the nicest towns in Tuscany - better than Pisa - but not overrun with tourists) is within 15 minutes. Recommend and would stay again.

Excellent location in the heart of Tuscany, 15 min from S. Gimignano and 1 hour away from popular cities such as Florence, Siena, Pisa, etc...
The flat is part of a complex of a few dozens of houses, all of them recently built and well designed. Large enough for a small family and well equipped. Only regret: no table and chairs or barbecue in the garden.
The area is very quiet. The swimming pool is decent, equipped with chairs and umbrellas, and well taken care of. There is an excellent restaurant on the premises, though a bit expensive. Supermarkets 7 km away.

Thanks for a truly great week at Archi - this is among the most charming places we have ever stayed at. Plenty of space, a large pool area and a lovely garden. And never crowded or noisy. Our kids had plenty of things do do - including water fun, free bicycle rides, tennis, volleyball, and they loved to say hello to the donkeys in the little forest. We enjoyed life on the balcony overlooking rural Tuscany every morning - and everythings so nice, clean and well kept.
We'd love to come back to Archi sometime - and we recommend this place to every family taveling to Tuscany.
