The ambiance was great, we felt like at home. The owner, Maria Grazia was very kind and helpful, her mother as well. The panorama is beautiful from the rooms. The estate is next to the traditional road SR 222 and lots of cyclists pass by. It is very good starting point to different towns in Chianti region, even Siena and Firenze. Overall, during our stay we felt the atmosphere described in the book “Under the Tuscan sun”!

We spent 2 beautiful weeks at this lovely villa at the end of May and could not have been happier with the property and it's lovely surroundings. It was secluded but within easy distance to many wonderful hill towns and vineyards. Our three young children enjoyed the pool, tennis court and running through the vineyards. The villa was spacious with plenty of room for our family of 5. I did a lot of cooking and found the kitchen well equipped with everything I needed, and the owner and caretaker were friendly and very responsive. I highly recommend this property to anyone who wants a relaxing vacation in this breathtakingly beautiful part of Italy.

As a group of ten, we stayed in three apartments at Torre A Cona, and used the fabulous kitchen at Giardino as our main area for congregation. We didn't have a single car, but took the bus to Incisa to shop at the Coop, and bought wine from the estate. Marianna and Livia at reception were wonderful. They opened the path that leads to San Donato so that we didn't have to walk on the road to get to the bus for Florence, and helped in many other ways. The property has stunning views, and the apartments are lovely.

Every year we spend a week in Tuscany, but this year our stay there was the most pleasant. The owners of San Donnino are very nice and professional, we have our privacy, nevertheless we know the owners can be reached at any time in case of our need. oue flat, the whole villa and its surroundings, the pool... were really beautiful. We really had a wonderful time and are sure to come back again.

Guesthouse Boccaccio was a perfect location from which to experience Tuscany. Everything about Guesthouse Boccaccio was more than we could have hoped for.
We made new friends, ate wonderful food and fell in love with the beauty of the Tuscan countryside and the charming city of Certaldo.
Five stars for the guesthouse and Certaldo Alto.
