Ariane P. - Zürich, Schweiz: Meinen 50sten Geburtstag verbrachte ich mit total 25 Personen in der wunderbaren Villa Le Ferrette. Wir waren alle total begeistert und würden diese Villa jederzeit weiterempfehlen. Die Einrichtung ist super, es fehlt wirklich an nichts. Die Küche ist absolut bestens bestückt. Im Aussenbereich sind BBQ und Pizza-Ofen. Stefano und seine Familie sind die Besitzer des Hauses und kümmern sich hervorragend um das schöne Gut. Stefano ist sehr offen und hilfsbereit. Er war immer sofort zur Stelle, wenn wir eine Frage hatten. Die Aussicht von der Villa ist sensationell, die Lage sehr ruhig. Mit dem Zug sind alle grösseren Städte in der Umgebung problemlos erreichbar (z.B. Florenz, Lucca, Pisa, Siena usw.) 2 Supermarkets befinden sich in der Nähe. Wir würden diese Villa sofort wieder mieten.

An amazing tower, with beautiful views especially when cooking in the wood oven. Well appointed kitchen and clean bathrooms. Owners were quick to attend to any issue that arose.
Great place to base yourself for a relaxing getaway (especially around the incredible pool), but a little far from major attractions if active holidays are more your thing.

Çasa Delle Antiche Rose was a great find. The owners were wonderful and the house was outstanding. The wisteria was blooming when we arrived and the fragrance was amazing! The roses were just starting to bloom too. We visited in late April, 2012 and the house was roomy, well maintained and well stocked. The owners even left us a wonderful "Welcome Basket" filled with goodies and wine to start our stay off well. We would love to come back again soon!

There is only one suggestion and that would be to post the GPS coordinates on the site. We took Pontassieve Sud instead of Pontassieve Est (toward Rome) and got lost, but the locals were helpful and once we found the villa....it was amazing. Also, Stefania is a great artist and has lovely paintings throughout the house.

This villa is great for families too. It has many rooms and bathrooms which was great for our family trip. We had 3 couples and our mom and everyone had their own room and bathroom, which is very hard to find in Europe. Our favorite past time was dining on the patio and enjoying our family in the gorgeous Tuscan outdoors.

We definitely recommend Casa Delle Antiche Rose and look forward to another visit soon.

Absolutely stunning property, in glorious hill top setting. The house was large, well appointed and very clean and warm when we arrived. It is sited by itself and so very private. The property forms part of an Agritourismo (a group of villas with a special license and usually some form of rural activity - in this case olive groves and horse arena/trekking).

We were welcomed (and assisted) by Franceska throughout our stay. She is very warm, welcoming and made us feel right at home.

If you have kids (or yourself) who like horses it came as a wonderful surprise to us that the property forms part of a 44ha property that boasts a covered arena and a full time horse instructor, Sandro. He was very kind to our kids and they managed several rides/treks during our stay, making them very happy.

We highly recommend Vecciale.

This place was perfect for my family. We wanted a relaxing, country setting, and we got it!. The villa was very clean and nicely decorated. Owners Paulo and Christina were very nice, very helpful and spoke enough English that we could communicate. It is only a short walk down into town - and up all the way home - where there are many restaurants and bars with good food and drink. It is best to have a car if you want to see the spectacular surrounding area.
