Really beautiful villa in a very scenic property. We loved the views and the villa itself. The gravel road to the villa was a bit hard to navigate, but nothing that was too difficult. Water pressure in some of the bathrooms(esp the one with the bathtubs) could be better, it was hard to bathe in those bathrooms.
The pool was really a nice addition and was enjoyed very much by our children! We had such a lovely time and hope to return!

This property was the perfect place for our family holiday. We were 10 people (+ one baby) and were absolutely delighted with the setting and character of the villa. The pool was a dream and the (very) secluded situation very agreeable. The unpaved road to the house was a bit rough on our cars, but with some care we did not experience any hick-ups. (For cars lying very low such as sport cars it would not be negotiable however.) Expect your vehicles to get properly dusty during the dry season. The lady taking care of the property (living in the annex) was very helpful. The only (minor) hick-ups were two broken mosquito nets on the windows to the bed rooms. Overall: We are definitely thinking of booking it again!

The Capanna is a spacious 2 bedroom apartment with a large, private patio. It was very clean and well maintained throughout our stay. The only negative about this unit would be the bathroom in the 2nd bedroom. You have to go upstairs from the bedroom to the bathroom. It has a huge skylight, very low ceiling and a shower with a large wooden beam through the middle of it. We called it the "tree house!" During the daytime the temperature up there is unbearable.
We also had a problem with ants in the living-room/dining area.
The unit is not air conditioned but it stays reasonably cool at night with windows open and fans running. The screens on the windows do allow mosquitoes and black flies in though.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay. It really is a beautiful property with breathtaking views and very close to the quaint, little town of Panzano.
We took full advantage of all the amenities at Il Palagio including the grill area and gorgeous pool!

Staying in San Clemente was cosy and nice and we were very satisfied with location (middle of Toscana region) but we see more potential in this villa. Maybe we were first guests in the season, but surroundings and our apartment was not so nice and clean and also swimming pool didn’t work as it should first few days. But still we have nice memories on days in Panzano in Chianti and on San Clemente villa.
