Idyllic location within the beautiful area surrounding Barberino Val D'elsa. This is foremostly a working farm (winery and olive growing - all organic), and visitors should set their expectations in line with this. Quercia Al Poggio isn't a 5 star spa resort, where services are provided for your every need, but it is a more than adequate facility where you can relax and be away from it all. Downsides - quite a long rocky driveway, no air con in the rental areas, and no wifi in Proneta. Upsides - there are plenty. Tucked away, peace and quiet. Very helpful ladies in the office, who will bend over backwards to advise and assist where they can. If you really want to get away from it all, and aren't so bothered about 5 star comforts and the material world, then this is a great place to stay.

Ho trascorso una settimana davvero speciale alla Montatina. La casa e' bella, pulitissima e fornita di tutto. Il giardino consente di riposare in tranquillità' e la piscina rilassa dopo le belle camminate tra i borghi circostanti. Ma la cortesia e disponibilità' dei proprietari e soprattutto della sig.ra Marina che ci ha riempito di gentilezze e di sorrisi sono un plus davvero eccezionale. Non esito a consigliare questa location per una bellissima vacanza di tranquilliate spero di ritornare. Grazie

[English translation courtesy of Easy Reserve] I spent a really special week at La Montanina. The house is beautiful, clean and equipped with everything. The garden allows you to rest in tranquility and the pool relaxes after the beautiful walks among the surrounding villages. But the courtesy and willingness of the owners and especially of Mrs. Marina that filled us with kindness and smiles are a really great plus. We had a wonderfull time ,very nice haus ,garden and swimming pool, round about only fields ,woods and one ancient farm to be not so alone. The ownesr are beautifull people ,very helpfull ,willing and attentive.

This home was just perfect. The views and layout of home is magnificent. Every bedroom has its own sitting area. We were 5 couples and we had our privacy. The area is magical. We would go back for sure.
