My husband and I spent a blissful four weeks at Casa I Pini. The villa has a rustic charm all of its own and we enjoyed getting to know its quirks. Franco was lovely, his lack of English and our lack of Italian did not prevent a daily chat, which we enjoyed very much. The location is perfect just 4km from Cortona, it's peaceful and quiet and we made good use of the pool and field beyond for our dog to have his daily exercise. When our family visited there was plenty of room for all and the Casa came alive, I would recommend it for larger family groups, we managed a pasta making class for eight of us no problem. I would return to the Casa I Pini and the beautiful Tuscan region in a heartbeat.

Die Lage fussläufig zum Meer war ganz gut. Mit Hund eher ungeeignet da der Weg sehr lang zum hundestrand war. Der Ort beinhaltet sehr viele Mücken, ohne mückenspray war das aufhalten im Freien sehr erschwert. In der Anlage musste man an Bändchen dauerhaft tragen was aufgrund von Körperpflege und schwimmen aber nicht sehr lange hielt. In den Restaurants war das Essen nicht sehr gut und die Öffnungszeiten eher kurz. Sie waren sehr hundefreundlich.

Lovely house, well equipped. Very comfortable beds. Limited bathrooms with only one full shower which can be challenging with 7 people The property is accessed via an unmade road the surface was very stony and uneven. Lucignano is a delightful hill top town a 10 minute walk from the villa. We would definitely return especially if the bathrooms were upgraded We all thoroughly enjoyed holiday

The nicest family to stay at. The best view of Toscana from the apartment, and the pool. We saw Wild boars, golden eagles and lots of beautiful butterflies. From Il Gattero you can reach the most ancient and fascinating small villages within an hour by car. This is not just another place to stay, Massimo and his lovely family makes it feel like home.
