Well maintained, peaceful property, with lavendel, grapes, rosemary, oak and cypress trees. Quiet and small Solata village in a 200 m distance. Plan for hiking, jogging, biking. Tourist attractions are about 30-40 km from here, but it is worth the distance. We spent a hassle free, gorgious, peaceful time with our family of four.

This villa is absolutely amazing!! The location is perfect - a few minutes outside of Cortona, which is a wonderful town full of shops and great restaurants. There is also a really good restaurant across the street from the villa. We dined there many nights on our vacation and everything we ordered was delicious. The owners are so nice and friendly and really go out of their way to make sure you enjoy your time there. The pool is wonderful and overlooks the beautiful tuscan countryside. The house is clean and very nicely kept by the owners. Overall we had a fantastic vacation and we hope to come back someday and stay in Poggio Del Sole again!

My grandson and I had a wonderful time at the villa.We want to return to Italy. Wonderful family and tremendously helpful. We were offered fresh vegetables from their family garden and it was really good. I can't say enough of this wonderful proprietor and his family. I would certainly reccomend this villa for a very relaxed family atmosphere. Just what we were looking for,and the location is really nice. We spent the evenings on the lawn overlooking San Gimignano. JUST BREATH TAKING!!!! Thanks Again for your service

A very nicely situated Villa situated among olive trees, but only 5 minutes from the local village, bus stop and train station into Pisa or Florence. Very comfortable and clean and a pleasure to come back to each day after touring around in the heat. A lovely little haven.

The owners came to meet us, and were extremely helpful and were more than happy for us to contact them should we have a problem.

Train and bus timetables, along with other local information was available in the villa, along with a TV, though this was only watched as Euro 2008 Football was on at night.
