Great place, the villa and the surrounding garden are beautiful, the appartment is very comfortable, large and furnished with authentic old furniture, the balcony has a great view, the owner is very nice, everything was perfect and we loved staying in the appartment. Its very close to Sienna and easy to get there by bus, which goes several times per hour.

Nice, large villa within a 15 minute drive to Siena. Easily accomodated our group of 14 with a few extra rooms to spare. Wonderful owners provided recommendations for site seeing, dinner reservations, and local shopping. Jacopo cooked local cuisine for our group the last night of our visit, which was excellent conclusion to our stay. Highly recommend this villa for a large group who wants to stay in a location rich with Italian history.

We were pleasantly surprised when we got there because it looked exactly like the photo's online. The views from the villa were absolutely breath taking! We enjoyed sunrises, mist in the morning over the valley and the view of the city. We really enjoyed the villa, it's location was perfect for us (especially since we had a car), the views were outstanding and the area was relaxing. The only down side (and not really a major one) was the washer took forever to run, so there needs to be written instructions (in English) that the renter can follow because we didn't know if we were doing it right and had a language problem trying to find out. Also, the lighting, especially in the kitchen was not good. The owners don't speak English and our Italian is limited, Dante & Rosanna were very nice and we all tried to understand each other:-) However, all in all it was an awesome two weeks. The price was right and the location was great.

The property itself was great, we loved the beach and the sunsets. Early October there were few restaurants open, and only one where the staff spoke English and made us feel welcome. However we enjoyed exploring the adjacent towns and vineyards.
