The villa is an excellent place to spend a romantic vacation. The view from the balcony is marvellous. It was a pleasure to spend our vacation there. And if there is nobody at the swimming pool, you can enjoy this perfect hideaway.

A superb base for a relaxing and peaceful holiday, situated near the gorgeous city of Lucca. Thoroughly recommended for those wanting a total break from the noise and stress of urban life!

The property as well as the setting and equippment were very good. Far away from the city noise and very close to nature. The only issue was the owner who did not even come to say hello when we arrived and when after 4 days we spoke to him about the vine tour, he indeed organized it, but instead of doing it himsel ( just as he promised) he sent his employee who barely spoke English. Istead, I recomment talking Antonietta- she works there but also has her own vineyard! Overall, very goog place to spend holiday!

Villa Maria is a spectacular property - very private and quiet, with beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. The owner made us feel as if we were in our own home and was attentive to our needs, which made our stay all the more enjoyable. This is our third trip to Tuscany and I would rate Villa Maria five stars.

Fabulous villa. Very clean, comfy beds, good bathroom and facilities. The most wonderful views from every room and the Terrace.We would highly recommend this villa.
