Was expecting internet but could only get sporadically when close to reception.
Was expecting air con (as stated available) and there was none - had to ask to get a small fan.
Outside space not at all private with people walking through whilst we ate meals etc

Note from owners: The website has been updated stating that internet is available only in the reception area. A/C is available only in the units Iris and Glicine as stated on the website. Indeed the outdoor areas are not fenced off.

Amazing!
Ranging in age from 10 to 59 we all loved everything about San Giuseppe and the wonderful welcome we received from Giuditta and her family.
Superb accommodation in an equally superb location.

We used this as a base for visiting Italy, for this the location was great for day trips to Rome, Venice, Verona, Pisa and Florence. The small town Dicomano is also ideal for all your self catering needs. The pool area and views from the room are excellent and the owners are very helpful. The things that stopped me giving a excellent rating are lack of internet in the rooms and not much privacy, no private external space.

The villa is of a very good standard, clean, well appointed, and with beautiful surroundings. The local bus service is very good and easy to navigate, and it only takes about 10 minutes to get into Florence, with about three buses per hour on average.

Our only reservation was that the description mentioned that renters would be able to access the swimming pool at the local hotel - this was true but the cost was extremely high (17 Euros per person, rising to 20 Euros per person at weekends) and there was no discount available for renters which we had assumed there would be from the website.

We had also hoped to be able to go for walks in the surrounging courntyside, but this was not really feasible and the road outside the villa leading into and out of Florence does not have pavements for the most part, so dangerous for families to walk along.

Having said this, overall we really enjoyed our stay and the accommodation itself was excellent.
Therefore, for a family of five with three boys (aged 14,13 and 11) in the very hot August weather, this was a bit of a downside as we had expected to be able to go swimming before/after sightseeing and this was not affordable.

Das was wir gesucht haben, Ruhe, Entspannung & Zufriedenheit in einer netten Location haben wir gefunden. Vor 9 Jahren empfanden wir das App. gerade die Küche & Bad noch als etwas gepflegter. Ansonsten ist die Familie sehr nett, wir wurden sehr gastfreundlich behandelt.

[English translation courtesy of Easy Reserve] Here we found exactly what we were looking for: peacefulness, relax and satisfaction in a nice location. 9 years ago we found the apt. , especially the kitchen & bath, better maintained. Otherwise, the family is very nice and treated us very welcoming.
