We thoroughly enjoyed the property, with it's spectacular views and spacious bedrooms. It's quiet and very peaceful. Very good value for money. Walking distance to San Gimignano which was great, as parking is not easy. Great location for other trips to Tuscan towns (Florence, Siena, Volterra). The property needs a view more supplies with respect to crockery, glassware and general supplies (toilet paper, dish/dishwasher soap, salt, pepper, olive oil (basic kitchen requirements, etc.).

We were 4 families of 8 adults and 7 teens on a week holiday. We had the most wonderful stay in Villa Pedone! Altho the weather was very hot, we always managed to find some pleasant shade and a bit of breeze. And the pool was very refreshing. The house is beautiful and has a wonderful aspect with views all around. There are also plenty of spaces for everyone to find a little peace, a place for a companionable chat or for the teens to make a joyful noise without disturbing anyone. I must say that AnnaMaria, the caretaker, was amazing. She stocked the house with food, at our request. She also made us 3 delicious dinners which we ate at the big table on the terrace by the pool. Nothing was too much trouble for her - she was a gem. We enjoyed a magical week in Villa Pedone - I hope everyone who visits there will share our experience.

We booked the Villa Edera and 3 apartments for my wife's 60th birthday for 31 family and friends. The weather was not good which made it harder for the apartment guests to join us every night as the track is dark and steep. Overall from what we could control the villa was an excellent venue for the group to socialize. The Apartments are very new and modern. The Mobiles and wifi were intermittent and you need to go up the hill for reception sometimes. We found the group used hire cars, buses, guided tours and taxi's to get around. The villa is remote but the roads are good. We also used a local caterer for great meals from Chianti inside out and there is a great eatery within a minute walk. Overall the property was great and as shown on there site.
