We stayed in this villa during June 2012 and had a really lovely hoiday. The villa is a large, traditional typical farmhouse style, a good size and in a brilliant location, very peaceful in the heart of the Tuscany countryside but only 2km from San Gimi, although not really walking distance so you'd need a car.
The villa was very well equipped with all the crockery and cutlery you could want and the dishwasher was a real god-send, when catering for so many people!
There are 4 good sized double bedrooms, two of which have single beds in as well. Really good sized dining area and a fab outdoor dining area with bbq. Two bathrooms, one with a shower and the other a bath with shower. Great utility room with washing machine, so everything you could wish for!
The only downside is the kitchen area - it is really small for the number of people the villa can accommodate, however it was serviceable enough and we managed pretty well - afterall, how much cooking do you want to do when on holiday?!!! And this was more than made up by the....
.... pool!!! I have to say I don't think I've ever been in such a tranquil place, so quiet and peaceful with fab views of the Tuscan hills - get a cold beer from the fridge and you're in heaven.
Lorenzo the owner was fab and couldn't do enough for us. We were staying during a heatwave asked for an extra fan - it appeared that afternoon, so we got a good night's sleep! Can't ask for more than that!
So all in all this villa is a great sized, very traditional farmhouse type villa which is superbly equipped, I'm sure you'll have a great holiday here.
