The location was absolutely fantastic and despite the unusual bad weather we had during our stay, we had a lot to visit at short driving distances from Volpaia.
The house was an elegant typical Toscanini dwelling with 4 double bedrooms with 3 bathrooms and one sigle bedroom with a nearby shower room.
The owner came to see us several times to solve the many problems we encountered during our stay.
A special mention to the housekeeper who was very efficient and helpful for us.
At this level of weekly rates, a few things have to be improved:
- the kitchen equipment is old and outdated (toaster and kettle have been changed during our stay)
- the tableware (plates and glasses) is mismatched and in a bad state, many chipped plates! (Additional cutlery has been supplied)
- the table linen is partly worn out
- electricity and in particular electrical outlets require specific triple sockets
I must admit that all our requests have been met.
