Our group of 12 loved the villa and wished we had more time there. Rosado was a very gracious and helpful host who went out of his way to make our stay memorable. We took advantage of his offer to tour the monastery. He was an informative guide and we would recommend this, especially to any fellow Catholics. His recommendation for the lunch location afterwards was fabulous..one of our best meals while there! We also had the chef, Katya, from La Pieve come to the villa for a cooking class. While we would have preferred to do more of the work ourselves instead of watching her, we all enjoyed the experience and the food we made. She also catered a birthday dinner for us and we visited her restaurant one night for dinner. Both times were delicious food and wine and great hospitality.
The villa and grounds were very clean and well-maintained. We had everything onsite that we needed to enjoy our vacation. We just wished that we had more time there. The only negative was that those who used the hot tub said that the water was lukewarm and not as hot as expected. Overall we would recommend this villa and wonderful host, Rosado.
